FrithRugs Foxi Anti Slip, Anti Creep Rug Underlay. For Carpeted Floors

This works exceptionally well. We used it to keep a runner in place over carpet. Before, even with carpet tape around the edge it would bunch and move. Now, it’s stays perfectly still. It’s great that it’s reversible depending on your needs. Highly recommend

This wasn't cheap. For my normal sized rug it was nearly £50. But I love the rug which was getting wrecked by its movement and subsequent stood in creases. I don't know how this work but it does. It's a Persian rug in a high traffic room on thick pile carpet. And now it doesn't move. I don't know how. I'm not sure how it would respond to chairs being dragged or wheeled etc but I've done workouts on it and it hasnt budged. Amazingly I had just 3cm strip spare which I put under equally annoying hallway runner which is on floorboards (which this isn't even designed for!) and now this barely moves. It was literally a 3cm off cut. Def worth the money if you really like your rug.

We have had a big problem with a 9 X 6 ft rug on quite a thick fitted woolen carpet. Despite trying many supposedly non-slip underlays at great cost over many years the rug has continued to move across the carpet seemingly faster than Emil Zatopek (look him up). This underlay has been down for a month now and there has been little sign of movement - certainly it has worked so far better than any other underlay we have tried. It is not a trivial issue because for our generation (the clue is in Zatopek!) rugs that move create a serious trip hazard. Frith Foxi anti-slip is expensive but it is working for us and seems to have resolved a long standing problem. Why only 4 stars? Because time will tell if it stays the course. Some other underlays we have tried have started quite well but soon begin to fail. This underlay is certainly more promising and we are well please with it so far.

After trying so many different fixes for our rug in carpet, this is totally worth the money! It’s worked a treat! We moved house and I didn’t want to get rid of our lovely rug from Benuta. The house had new carpets so it just kept rippling continually. This has finally been the answer! The before photo used to get like this every 2-3 weeks.

When I first got it, I would have given it five stars as it held the mat firmly on the carpet tiles. However, after a few months and some dirt it has lost its stickiness and the dreaded creep has returned - though not as bad as without foxi. I tried washing it as suggested on the web. It washed OK and still feels sticky, but no improvement on the creep. Given it's designed to live on the floor, I'd expect it to cope with some dirt rather better than it has. It wasn't industrial strength dirt, just domestic.

Searched for the best anti slip mat, to use with woollen carpet and Hessian backed rugs and I have had delivered this morning exactly that. Extremely happy, rapid turn around and super fast delivery. I really couldn't be happier, definitely recommend this company. Big five stars ✨ to all concerned
