Very small, but works pretty well
We bought this to keep in the "stow'n'go" compartment of our van. It fits great along with a small package of size 5 diapers. The website says you can use any size diaper, but so far the fours and fives are the only ones that are really large enough. For the most part, it has worked well. We've had a couple of instance where urine somehow ended up between the diaper and the potty, which is extra gross to deal with but doesn't happen often enough for us to stop using the potty. You also need to wait a few minutes for the urine to soak into the diaper before you can wad everything up and pitch it.I have found that the diaper does NOT want to stay in place. It moves easily and slips out from under the side guards pretty often. It hasn't really effected the performance of the potty, but I'm going to put the rough half of a piece of velcro in the bottom of it and see if that helps. As mentioned in the title, this potty is very small. It's about the size of a thick, hardcover book. It's also very sturdy, though. With some careful maneuvering, I have used it in an emergency with no issues (and I weigh close to 200 pounds). Sometimes if my daughters sit down too quickly, the halves of the potty slide apart, but, once again, it doesn't happen often enough to be huge issue.Overall, we're happy with our travel potty (and the gas station stops it saves us on long trips) and I expect we'll get many years of use from it.

Great product! So glad I found this!
This thing has come in handy a few times but enough times I know not to take it out of my vehicle. The packaging of it is very compact. The toilet itself doesn't sit super high off the ground but it's big enough for my kid to do what she needs to do. Once she gets older if it gets to be a problem I can see myself just sitting it closer to the edge of my vehicle and letting her legs hang off that way but kids are so adaptive that for as long as they'll be on there they'll be able to use it.The first time I used it i was in a rush trying to get it ready and it ended up leaking. After I sat down and figured out how to line the diaper it worked great and is so convenient to clean it up. I went a step further and got some Velcro and attached it to the inside to where the diaper could attach even more securely to it and lessen the chance of it slipping. I buy the big size diapers and have the diaper in place before we actually need it and pack it back up so all I have to do is pull it out and stack it. It fits fine back in the carrying case with the diaper attached and really takes up hardly any space in your vehicle. This alleviates any stress of trying to find a bathroom on the fly or even having to use the dirty public restrooms if you can get back to your car easily. Definitely an awesome product and I would no question buy it again.

Great idea, but not functional
Great idea, but not functional. It is better to just let your toddler pee on trees or grass outside, and even to poo outside and just pick it up. That's what I ended up doing. This portable potty did not work well. Too small. Not stable... and I think, not a comfortable position for pee or poo.

I really wanted to like this, but with the odd design
I really wanted to like this, but with the odd design, my daughter absolutely would NOT sit on this. Not even for M&Ms. I'm keeping this in hopes that my next daughter is not so picky, because I do like the concept and the portability of this.

Leaks but overall a keeper
I don't love this potty but will keep it. There are three main problems with it:1) SMALL: Like the other reviews state, the potty is VERY small. And just like others have said, its small size also works to its advantage by being easy to transport. I toss it into a plastic bag (which I later use to toss away the wipes & the wet diaper) along with a clean diaper into the basket of my stroller.2) SLIDES: The top lid can easily slide off the bottom part. It's not a problem when my child is sitting ON the potty but a pain when you're trying to rush in getting it prepared (i.e. getting the diaper into the thing and getting the lid to be stable on top and your child is needing to go NOW! NOW! NOW!) I wish they built a sort of latch to fix this problem.3) LEAKS: This happens to me 8 out of 10 times....the pee will leak off the side of diaper while it is in the potty and drip off the sides into the base. I'm not sure what I'm doing different those 2 out of 10 times it works and the potty stays completely dry and the diaper is the only thing wet...but I think the rushing to assemble it may have something to do with it.I'm putting size 5 diapers into the potty so it should be big enough...but it leaks. : (Maybe if they designed the lid to have little small plastic hooks to keep the diaper sides up in place, it would prevent this problem from happening. But all in all, I'm keeping this product because it's easy to carry & simple to clean. And maybe one of these days, I'll figure out how to keep the pee from leaking off the sides of the diapers!

Travel Must with Kiddos!
This travel potty is a MUST with kiddos who are in the midst of potty training or are potty-trained but still "new" at it. We've now used the Caboose on several occasions and it worked like a charm!! So well, in fact, that I was afraid my daughter would only want to use it from now on. Keeping it pre-loaded with a diaper is key to being ready at a moment's notice. Since I store it already lined with a diaper, I just have to unzip the case, flip the top onto the base and VIOLA!! it is ready and saves the day. I love the compact size and ease of use -- especially the ease of cleanup with something as simple as a diaper. No baggies of anything for me. I will be ordering another for our 2nd vehicle.
