Very good upgrade for a plastic nut. Easy to fit.

Colour and string spacing just what I needed.Quality product but a little over priced but hey,does the job right ,looks good and will last tens of years.

Yet to install, but looks perfect for my Gibson double cut.

Upgraded the plastic nut on a Gibson Les Paul, would recommend sanding the bulk of the height away with 120 grit to start as this stuff is rock solid. Then move to 240/320 closer to your desired height. My Les Paul actually stays in tune after bending a string. The colour was a close match the binding also.The only downside for some may be removing the Gibson nut as knocking it out with a chunk of wood isn't the safest option unlike 90% of guitars out there.

Great product, but a little narrow, for Les Paul type guitars and will need gluing in. This item will need rubbing down to the correct height so take it slowly.

This fit perfect on a Gibson 2016 Flying V Pro. I bought the V on Reverb and when I got it realized the nut was cut and installed all wrong! Surprised Gibson would let this pass!Being a Guitar player and wood worker I also dabble in Luthier and know how to set up a Guitar. This Nut is just slightly over sized so you will have to trim and sand a little. The slots are pretty much right on but you will have to deepen them to get the right string height so you will have to invest in some files on devices to achieve that. A properly cut and installed Nut is most critical for proper tuning and if not done right will make the guitar sound out of tune even if the open string are in tune. If you have let's say your E string at proper pitch and then finger the F and the tuner is 4 or so cents higher, you need to cut deeper. The trick is you have to cut as close to the fret board as you can and constantly check tuning on the first fret yet not go too far where you are buzzing againt the fret wire. You also want to go at a slight angle towards the Machine heads. Videos on line will show this process. Just take YOUR TIME!I use Tusq nuts on The Gibson V, Chinese ES 335 Grote, and Fender Precision Bass. Make sure you get the right Nut for your Guitar. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!
