Steaks always seem more tender and tasty when you have a great sharp knife. These truly deliver. We’ve been using for a couple years now, with only the occasional dressing on a sharpening steel. Excellent quality, comfort and edge. Still enjoy using every time. Of course that means I’m having a steak for dinner, so what’s not to enjoy, I cook great steak and these knives only make it better.

I've been looking for quality non-serrated steak knives for some times. Most good quality knives cost a lot of money. These knives are reasonably priced, I decided to give them a try. They arrived in a well protected box and each has its own knife guard. They are very sharp out-of-box, each knife pass the paper test. They also cut steaks, pork chops, chicken with ease. I also like the classic look and they way it feel in my hand. Over all very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new set of steak knifes.

I was looking for 8 small (narrow?)-handled knives that would fit my current knife block, all 8 sitting comfortably side by side. These Foxels fit the bill. I love the non-serrated edge; it seems these knives will be easy to sharpen using my knife steel. These knives cut meat and applies easier (serrated edge knives may cut meat, but apples, no so much). I DO NOT place these knives in the dishwasher, as the water and especially the dishwasher's dryer are both too hot; I WASH THEM BY HAND due to the plastic contained in the handles. I'm quite pleased with this product, have used them about a month (9/2023)

Got these knives because they were a good match for our Wustof Classic knive set. They will be stored in the same knife block. These knives are beautiful and very sharp. They can also be used as a utility knive. They are also boxed beautifully and would make a nice shower or house warming gift. Also, since they are not aerated, they can be easily sharpened when it becomes necessary. Some people have expressed concerns about rusting but good knives, like our Wustofs, should always be hand washed and hand dried - never put in the dishwasher. This is to prevent water spots and nicking the edge. Only giving 4 stars because we just got them and don’t know how well they will stand up over time. However, I have no reason to believe they won’t if they are taken care of properly.

These steak knives turned out to be a great buy. There is a lot of value for the price. Each steak knife has a satisfying, weighted feel to it. I believe that you could easily expect to pay in the $80-$125 range. The non-serrated blade has a smooth cut and makes eating steak a more satisfying experience. If you are using the steak knives daily (wouldn't we all like to eat steak daily!) they will probably need to be sharpened. We plan to use the steak knife set when having guests over or eating a nice meal. So I don't think we will have to worry about that for a while. They have a great customer service policy too. If I am unhappy for any reason, I can return the knives within a year. This will give me a chance to feel them out to make sure I like them. Be warned though, these steak knives are not dishwasher safe! Either way, they are much better than my last set. It was a cheaper set of steak knives that was worthless within a year. Better to pay a little extra and have something that actually lasts.

You think your crew does crazy things when you get a product review ... I used my new Foxel straight edged steak knives on a perfectly broiled Rib Eye steak last night and the strangest thing happened. On the first cut piece of Rib Eye I made the steak was so happy it actually did a flip on my plate and the sizzling hissed out a sigh of relief. No more tearing of meat with serrated blades, no more arm cramps from trying to cut a steak with a dull straight edge blade. I truly can't explain the sensation of cutting a steak with these Foxel knives. It's as if the knife and the steak were lovers and at first touch the steak relaxed and the knife sank into the steak and the cutting through the meat was effortless. I LOVE THESE KNIVES! I didn't rate durability because I've only used them once but hey, they're made of German stainless steel and the tang runs the full length of the handles which are secured with three rivets. I have no doubt the durability will also get a 5 star rating from me.

You can drive yourself nuts reading too many reviews and wondering if stainless steel will rust or the tang will break or...But eventually I settled on this knives as a reasonable choice between quality and price. I wasn't going to bankrupt myself to get knives that would outlast my life span; but I didn't want something I'd be unhappy with in six months. These are perfect. Very sharp out of the box, nice to handle, so far they seem very durable. No signs of rust. I've even decided they are enough of an investment that I don't throw them in the dishwasher. Very happy.

Very nice steak knives! Very well made and beautiful. Extremely sharp out of the box and cut through meat like it's hot butter! Also ordered the 5 piece knife set and it is of the same beautiful, high quality! Can't beat this set especially at this price! Highly recommend!

But good quality

These knives were delivered in some very nice packaging. Used them for the first time this weekend on a 2.5cm ribeye. Cut through without a hitch. I got tired of my serrated steak knives tearing meat. These worked perfectly and I would definitely recommend them.
