Purina Pro Plan High Protein Dry Puppy Food, Chicken & Rice, 34 lb Bag

Bigger pups really like this. May need to be "softened" for smallest pups.

Used by my puppy’s breeder. No issues. She gobbles it up. Vet approved.

I can't speak highly enough of Purina Pro Plan High Protein Dry Puppy Food, specifically the Chicken and Rice Formula in the 6 lb. Bag. It's nothing short of a nutritional marvel for our growing fur baby. From the moment we adopted our enthusiastic little pup, we were determined to provide him with the best possible start in life. After researching various puppy foods, the Purina Pro Plan brand stood out for its reputation and quality. Needless to say, it has exceeded our expectations in every way. Ingredients Worth Celebrating: First and foremost, the ingredients are worth celebrating. Real chicken is the primary source of protein, and you can see it in the kibble. It's clear that Purina is committed to using high-quality, real meat, which provides essential amino acids to support healthy muscle development. Additionally, the inclusion of rice and other nutrients ensures a well-rounded diet that's easily digestible, making it perfect for sensitive little tummies. Optimal Protein Levels: Protein is crucial for a puppy's growth, and Purina Pro Plan gets it just right. The high protein content is well-balanced to support muscle development and overall vitality. It's particularly important for active, playful puppies like ours. Complete and Balanced Nutrition: This puppy food goes beyond protein; it offers a complete and balanced nutritional profile. Essential vitamins and minerals, such as DHA (from fish oil), provide the building blocks for healthy brain and vision development. It's fantastic to know that our pup's cognitive growth is being supported by every bite. Consistency and Digestibility: The kibble size is perfect for small mouths, and our pup eagerly devours each bite. It's clear that he enjoys the taste, and it's a relief to know that her food is not just palatable but highly nutritious. We've noticed that his coat is glossy, her energy levels are vibrant, and he's growing at a healthy pace. Weight Management and Portion Control: As conscientious pet parents, we appreciate the guidance on the bag for portion control. It ensures that our pup is maintaining a healthy weight and not overeating. The packaging is also quite convenient, making it easy to dispense the right amount without hassle. A Promise of Quality: Furthermore, the trust we have in Purina Pro Plan as a brand is well-placed. They've been dedicated to pet nutrition for over 85 years and conduct extensive research to ensure their products meet the highest standards. In sum, Purina Pro Plan High Protein Dry Puppy Food in the Chicken and Rice Formula has been a cornerstone of our puppy's well-being. It provides a wholesome and balanced diet, supports healthy growth, and makes us feel confident that we're providing the best start in life for our beloved furry family member. This 6 lb. Bag is a testament to Purina's commitment to pets' health and happiness. We couldn't be happier, and our pup couldn't be healthier. Five stars don't seem enough to express our gratitude for this exceptional product.

So I usually been giving them the purina pro plan, salmon and rice, but I was running low and so I had to buy a bag of this until the other bag came and they gobbled up two bowls immediately much faster than they did the salmon so I canceled the salmon and will be using this from now on since they love it so much :)

Did great

Love the product, box arrived in terrible shape. See picture below. Good thing I was home because it was pouring outside.

Will only use this brand! Great for dogs and puppies!

Mon chiot adore cette nourriture. Bon prix, ailleurs beaucoup plus dispendieux. Acheté deux (2) fois. en juillet 2026. Recommande vivement cette nourriture.

This is our puppy’s favorite kibble. Our vet rated this as one of the best kibble’s to have for our medium size goldendoodle.

My puppy loves this food! One thing I would like to mention though is please don't put in a large box. First of all it would be so cumbersome for the delivery drivers. The box was in not too good of shape when delivered bc of the bulky goods and not taking up the space in the box so it slides all over. A waste of a box in my eyes at least. The last puppy food I received just came with a label on the bag which was perfect! I am just trying 5o help and not complain.

Great for those early months of your puppy’s life

Top notch puppy food. Below the cost of a pet store and delivered right to your door. It makes life easier for someone that can't lift the larger bags.
