Very nice chair that’s easy to assemble
Had an issue with the shipping and was a little late but the customer service response was quick and satisfactory. Very pleased with how it was handled. The quality of the chair is excellent and makes for a very nice value. Nice and comfortable. The seat could be a bit narrow depending on the size of a persons hips. I’m a 6ft tall 185lb man and it fits me very well. Good height adjustment, reclining is adjustable and will lean back nicely. Back support should fit the widest of backs and I would consider it to be high. Assembly was very easy. Took about 20 minutes with included tool. Packaging was nicely thought out.

Better than Some Expensive Models at Staples and Office Depot.
I usually buy the highest user rated product at the lowest price. This means spending hours reading Amazon customer comments, ConsumerSearch website, and other internet sites. After much research, I purchased two Furmax High Back Office Chairs. Here are the "good" and "bad" on this product...ADVANTAGES.1. USER RATING: This is one of the higher rated office chairs among users. As of 6/20/2018, there were no "1, 2, or 3-Star Reviews" listed. All were "4 and 5-Stars.".2. VALUE: Despite the $10 shipping cost, this is the cheapest high back office chair on the Amazon website..3. COMFORT: It is very comfortable. The cushions are thick and firm. The lower back support is superb. The chair just wraps around the contours of your body..4. QUALITY: Sitting down, it just feels luxurious. In fact, I prefer this than some of the expensive brands priced between $150 to $250 at Staples and Office Depot..5. EASE OF ASSEMBLY: The diagram is simple to follow. All hardware are provided with an Allen wrench. The pieces align accurately during assembly..6. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Their department is superb. A small problem was resolved within a day with detailed instructions and two step-by-step illustrations...DISADVANTAGES.1. UNEXPECTED PRICE INCREASE: Without warning, the price went up by $5..2. SHIPPING CONTAINER: The cardboard box is flimsy. Almost all of the packaging tape are broken during shipping..3. BETTER SEATING: For durability, the seat should be constructed of real cow hide..4. TOO MUCH STITCHING: There are just too many parts stitched together. When a thread breaks, everything comes apart..5. STITCH LOCATION: Many of the stitches are located on corners and edges which experience the most wear and human contact. Have the material wrap around these areas and stitched further down..6. ASSEMBLING THE BACK: Tilt the chair on its side when assembling the back piece to the arms. It is impossible to do this with the chair standing up, as illustrated on the installation booklet..7. HEIGHT: The platform is a bit high. People with short legs will have problems..8. NO MID-BACK VERSION: If this office chair came in an exact mid-back version, I would buy four of them..Unfortunately, the other mid-back Furman models look very uncomfortable and cheap. I purchased similar ones from Office Max years ago. The seating platform is smaller; and the foam is thin. Within a few years, the user is resting on wood. The threads also broke, exposing the insides.

Great chair
I received my chair one day earlier than expected which was great. Boxed seemed damaged but nothing was damaged inside. The chair took about 30minutes to put together. Everything is pretty simple, except for when it came to attaching the back part to the seat. I had a hard time lining up the holes where the screws were supposed to go. It seemed as though the holes were not lined up when they were made. This took the longest but after about 10min I was finally able to get the holes lined up and insert some screws. I tightened everything down and for the most part, seems stable right now. Chair looks great and feels great. Swivel works great. Will update my review in a few months.Edit: ARM RESTS ARE NOT PADDED AS STATED IN ITEM DESCRIPTION. It is just wood or plastic covered in very thin PU leather

Mediocre at best
Final update: So, after dealing with...well...subpar customer service conversation skills let's get down to a new review of this thing. Buy something else. Loudest chair I've ever sat in. Literally creaks and groans everytime you move. This was after about a month. The arm "leather" whatever it is, is peeling off, and the lean was NEVER fixed. So customer service, when someone says "my entire chair leans to the side, including the seat and arms" a proper response is not to send them a new back to the chair. The ENTIRE CHAIR LEANS! So what you should have done is sent the actual replacement parts you said you were going to send, instead of saying "yeah...but here's this now, good luck." Also your emails were like reading the script to smeagle in lord of the rings. this chair is...a chair, that's it. However, better chairs are most likely out there for the same price. All I'm sayin, really think about this one.Update: After a day the chair isn't straight. The entire chair tilts to the right. Removing a starSo after refusing shipment on the first chair for an extremely damaged box, the second one finally came only with less damage. The chair itself may be difficult for one person to put together when dealing with connecting the back, to the seat. The arm rests are hard, almost like air is the cushion, covered in the fabric of the chair; "PU Leather" or whatever. It is better than my old chair, however my old chair has been in use for over a decade so it isn't really comparable. Lumbar support is ok, and being 6'1" the back of the chair does go above my shoulders being able to semi comfortably lay the back of my head on the top of the backing of the chair. Depending on how this chair goes in the future, I will update my review. However for now my purchase price of $89.99 it deserves 4 stars. Would have been 5 if I didn't have to wait longer than expected, the snugness of the back and seat during assembly, and the stiffness of the armrests. It is a nice chair, with basic features, good for a sub $100 chair.
