Lead does not break unlike others when you drop them. Just as good as leading brand. Sharpen well also

I am a physicist. I usually got through at least one HB pencil every week - I’ve been using the same two pencils for nearly 6 months now! Insane top quality - it’s unreal. 142 of these left - This will last me 35.5 years going at this rate. Well done to the manufacturers. When I’m 53, I’ll definitely buy more of these pencils. Kudos.

As a mum of three home educated kids, pencils are in constant use. It is so nice to have a box of pre-sharpened pencils to hand. It will take us a while to get through all of them :) they sharpen nicely and unlike other brands we’ve used these seem to be made of strong stuff, I am no longer dealing with kids telling me the lead has snapped or sharpening them only to find the lead is loose. These are really well made and once we get through them, I will buy another box, I won’t be using any other brand again.

I open the box, looked really great. The touch, grip and weight seemed to be just the right one. Then I test one of them and the tip breaks immediately. Ok, bud luck, I will sharpen it. And the tip breaks again immediately. And again, and again until I stopped sharpening it when I had used more than half of the pencil.I tried a second one and it was ok apparently, so I though that one out of 144 in the box wasn't a big deal.But after two months I can say that I've used around 20 pencils from the box, and more than 25% (7 pencils) were unusable because the graphite core breaks every time you try to sharpen it. This is not bad luck, it is simply (terribly) bad quality.For once the Covid19 brought something good: an extended return period, so I am still thinking if I will return them.

I have three kids who insisted on Staedtler pencils for school as they sharpened much better than the cheap ones (which won't sharpen, break lots etc). Problem was even online Staedtler cost a lot and my kids all used several week! They lost them or press hard writing and sharpen them to nubs quickly. I bought this box hoping they might be a little better than store brands or other cheap alternatives. Well, my kids feel they are BETTER than Staedtler and I love being able to buy in bulk affordable quality pencils. The price per pencil of these is so much lower than Staedtler I don't even mind them taking a new one daily! So glad we tried this, I will be repurchasing!

Bought for 2 Grandchildren. HB are the best I thought for drawing
