Halloween Pumpkin Carving Kit Professional and Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Tools (11PCS)

I bought this kit and added 3 scrapers and a potato peeler to carve detail into pumpkins. I watched some videos on YouTube and observed their tools. I do a lot of artwork but carving into a pumpkin is not so easy. I had a jack o lantern which is very hard, stringy and dried out a little as I carved. I know there is a softer pumpkin to use but I will try that next time. I tried to carve something easy like a 2 faced pumpkin. The tools were firm, sharp and worked well. Although the sharp pointed triangle knife bent a little when I cut into the skin. Carved the pumpkin for our Halloween party at work. This kit came in a smooth, padded polyvinyl(?) Zippered pack. I didn't use the serrated knives but the carving tools worked well.

I received so many compliments with this .. all the utensils it comes with are perfect for carving a pumpkin! I love that it has its own packaging , so it ready to use and put away. I don’t have to worry about where I left one and the other.. it’s all in one place now. Utensils are also very sturdy .. no phony business.

This kit is just okay, the scoops and larger knives are pretty nice but the small shaving tools didn’t work whatsoever, which is why I had chosen this kit over others. The carrying case is very nice, and looks great so i’ll definitely use it well into the future.

This is a great carving set that can be re-used each year. No need to worry about buying a new set every Halloween. The tools come stored in a cute, zippered pouch where they’re secured by Velcro straps. Large variety of tools that work well to carve a pumpkin, but not so sharp you can’t let the kids use them. Much better quality than the standard plastic sets. The different size utensils make it a lot easier to carve in the finer details without fear of accidentally taking off more than you’d like. They’re sturdy & the blades don’t bend while carving. The handles are comfortable to hold & easy on the hands. My 10-year-old son was able to use these on the smallest lines in the stencil I drew with ease. My only issue is that a few of the smaller tools (the 2 that resemble craft blades) did come out of the wood handle while carving. I was able to easily slide them back in, but those 2 can no longer be used for anything requiring you to put pressure on them. Like, I can still use them for adding details but no actual cutting. Otherwise, all the others held up well & we were able to get a really cute, detailed pumpkin design this year.

The kit ad everything we needed and more. The tools were sharp and ready to go.

I purchased these for the extra surface carving tools, since I already have 2 cheap sets of pumpkin "saws" and scoops. Figured maybe with the nice case and large selection of tools in this kit I could get rid of my old stuff. I was wrong. The items with the black handles are of decent quality and do what they are suppose to do but not really any better than a set from the grocery store. The red handle carving tools are nearly worthless for pumpkins. They have no edge and are cheap materials. They can't really make it through the tough skin of the pumpkin.

This kit has everything you need to use for carving and shading. I'm not artistically inclined enough to use all of them but it was great to have the tools!

It has so many different carving tools all packed in a nice pouch. Looks sturdy and good quality.
