works only with 2.4Ghz
it improved the signals for the 2.4Ghz only, replacing this with the stock antenna that came with the motherboard allowed me to position it in a better place but it only picks up 2.4Ghz, I checked it by replacing the old ones while the computer was running.only good for 2.4Ghz Wifi
