I used these for lights on my model railroad buildings. It is as close to neon lights as you can get -very bright and colorful. The only issue is that the coating is silicon and I can't figure out what glue to use to make them stick. I ended up using little jewelry closed hoops screws from Michaels to hold it in place.

Seems very pricey and you can find similar products on eBay for cheaper. I wish they offered faster shipping, more colors, and for a cheaper price.

A really cool device! But, there is no current rating shown in the listing. If I use the "ask a question" I get an answer of 100mA. I get the same rating when I Google the ASIN # on Google. But, if I apply 3.0V, the actual current draw it ~330mA. If I limit the current to 100mA the voltage is ~2.6V, not 3.0V. So, I'm not sure what the actual current or voltage rating is.
