No it won't. You have an intake that uses an electronic throttle body

Q: I installed one of these but my gas pedal is so hard to press in the initial press, is there a break in period? I already have 1k miles on it.

Check to make sure that the cable is not bound or kinked some place, check throttle plate and confirm smooth operation, check gas pedal for smooth operation. Your problem is somewhere in the cable, also check that cable is aligned at throttle body properly.
