Bumperduo Rear Bumper Protector, Guard your Bumper From Scratches, Dings, ETC. - Large

I live in NYC where alot of drivers do not respect another person's vehicle. I've experienced a lot of damage to my previous vehicle as a result of parking on NYC streets. I purchased this bumper protector in hopes of protecting my Maxima's rear bumper from damage. Although the entire bumper is efficiently covered by the bumper protector, the bumper protector itself causes a tremendous amount of scratches to the clear coat which I have to continuously buff out. After owning it for a week, I had to remove it to clean it. A lot of dirt gets trapped between the bumper and the protector. I actually clean it every week. I do not believe the protector can stay on for more than a week. (The cleaning instructions say otherwise) I give it 2 stars because despite the scratches that it causes to the clear coat, it protects the paint from damage by other vehicles which can be costly.

Product is well made, however, unless you are willing to drive around with a LARGE RED irremovable ugly advertisement for bumperduo.com on your vehicle I recommend you do not buy it. It made my car look cheap, so I returned it. If it had been embossed into the product (black) I would have probably installed it, but RED, NO WAY.

These are now installed on my car however there is a serious design flaw with these.You are instructed to cut out the tabs carefully not compromise the integrity of the rubber. , which we did. The rubber however cracked and needed to be "Gorilla taped" . I have a new car and needed to remove the wheel well cover to rap around. I needed a professional tool. . The only reason I did not return these is it took 2 hours to cut out an install . I glued and taped the bumper together in the spots that were needed. My next test will be when I take it to a car wash.DO NOT BUY FOR MKC LINCOLN

The Rubber "bumper diaper" seems ok BUT the bungees that the manufacturer uses to secure heavy rubber blanket fray against the body and snap. We're about to return this ineffective product for the SECOND time! And NOW I see that there is NO return possible for this truly undependable "piece of useless!"

I have some scratches on the sides of my rear bumper from people parking behind me. I saw this on Amazon and thought I would give it a try.

Great product, covers the sides as well, looks better than those what appears to be mats people have hanging out there trunks. Excellent shipping, and customer service :) I definitely recommend especially if you live in the city.

I put in on about two weeks ago. The set up was fairly simple and it still remains firmly in place (no shifting). The wrap around aspect is a definite plus. Now I have to see how it manages a drive through wash. I'll read the instructions again to see how that should go.PeaRocks

I purchased this product as a gift for my dad. When he went to use it, the hooks didn't fit his far, although I ordered the appropriate guard for his model of car. Very displeased.
