Lords of the Everglades (DVD) (1997)

Of the 3 DVDs I've just watched on Crocs/Aligators, this is by far & away the best. Photography is good, narrative extremely informative and non-intrusive. Covers the development of one American crocodile and one Aligator from hatching through to adulthood. Recommended.

A good 51 min REGION B/2 DVD showing in a watery realm, where earth and sea seem to melt into one, lives two creatures whose ancient roots touch those of dinosaurs.Hundreds of rare animals share this place with a powerful reptile whose graceful mating ritual begins with a shimmering dance. But the mighty alligator is not the only lord of the everglades. A few miles away, where saw grass and oceans meet, lives an old cousin, the crocodile. Ancient creatures with a common fate, for most of them here life will be brief and violent.
