**Q: Can I plant these to grow my own?**
A: Definitely not, they have been fried and covered in salt. It's just like the cancha they serve in Peruvian restaurants.

**Q: Is it real cancha chulpe? I have bought another one and is to toast not chulpe.**
A: Yes, it's real cancha chulpe.

**Q: I had chulpi in ecuador. it basically just salted seeds that look like these. can you eat these the way they come or does it have to be cooked?**
A: Cook them like popcorn. Fast and easy. This is large kernel corn, and when “popped” it will be what you had in Ecuador.

**Q: Can you put this in a popcorn popper?**
A: We haven't tried to make it that way.  The corn doesn't pop and look like popcorn when done; it pops, but doesn't change shape.  I would suggest just heating it over medium heat in a skillet with oil - shaking the skillet every so often so the kernels don't burn.  When the popping stops, it's done.
