Premium Dark Soy Sauce, Vegan, Halal, 1.9 L Pack of 1

I bought this mainly for stir-fries, marinades, and adding colour to dishes, and it's been excellent so far. The flavour is rich and savoury, and it gives food that deep colour you'd expect from a good dark soy sauce. A little goes a long way, so despite the large 1.9L bottle, I don't feel like I'm using much each time. It's worked well in everything from fried rice to slow-cooked dishes and homemade sauces. The size is both a positive and a negative. You get plenty for your money, but the bottle is quite large and can be a bit awkward to handle and store, especially if cupboard space is limited. If you're used to regular soy sauce, it's also worth remembering that dark soy sauce is mainly used for colour and depth rather than being poured on everything like a table condiment. A good choice if you cook Asian dishes regularly and want a quality dark soy sauce that should last a very long time.

This is a staple in my kitchen now. The consistency is thicker than regular soy sauce, which makes it ideal for glazing and cooking.The colour and aroma it gives to dishes are spot on. You don’t need much to get great results. The bulk size lasts ages, but it does take up a fair bit of cupboard space.

Lee kum kee, probably the best best known and tbh the best flavoured brand no matter what sauce they put out there. Great flavours if you want Asian authenticity.

Can't say anything bad about the product, side note though, I thought it was engine oil :) Maybe use a different style of bottle?
