CIVIVI Elementum Folding Pocket Knife, 2.96" D2 Blade Ultem Handle C907A-4

Now Civivi knives are known for having the best bang for the buck, and this model is no exception. The off-white ivory looking scales with the frag design lend a little class. Now the blade is where this model stands out from the crowd. Though classed as a short blade, it is a definite winner. A drop point always gets my attention. This one is perfect with a deep hollow grind making for an excellent cutting edge. And it rides in the pocket well and deploys easy with the flipper. Now I don't sit and play with my knives. Wasn't raised to play with things that can hurt you. However, for those with nervous energy and "fidgeting" is your thing, this will make you happy I suppose. Priced well below the competition, and worth more than it costs.

I had been looking for a lighter colored knife to be a bit more discreet when wearing lighter colors and tried out several before hitting the "goldilocks" button on the head with this one. Others were too long, too thick, or had poor ergonomics. This one is the perfect length, compact without being too slim to grip, buttery smooth action, and solid as a rock. The grip was a little slippery right out of the box but that must have just been some production residue because after handling it for a bit it's nice and grippy now. Very impressed with the build quality, especially give the price point. I can see why CIVIVI is making a name for itself in the sector, they're punching way above their price point.

These knifes are great. I’ve ordered 3 now and they are the best knives I have personally owned. I actually don’t even use any other ones anymore. They stay sharp (and I abuse them) and when they lose their edge they’re easy to sharpen. Handles are nice, the blade on the Damascus one is killer.

Very nice knife. Holds a razer edge. Action is very smooth and snappy. Looks great. I love the PEI scales, but there are plenty of other options if they're not your thing. Feels like a much more expensive knife than it actually is.

I like the ultem. Reliable knife. Good brand. Good components. Get it before the ultem fad is over. Collectors piece.

I initially felt it larger than I expected. I was just replacing a knife I always had in my pocket, I had replaced to one previously. That's me. This pocket knife was more than I wanted in my pocket. Then I found my previous knife...in the garden. I was happy. I've now come to to truly like this new knife. It has the larger blade with a much better cut. It's not in pocket all time but I do use it a lot.

Despite it being from China and my doubts- I was wrong. Nice little EDC (every day carry). I use it all the times opening packages. Paper can really dull a blade but so far so good!
