Good insulation, save for a major correctable flaw(s).The 4 venting holes (3 in a rubberized, flat 'valve,' one in the neoprene itself) at the top of the hood WILL allow consistent 'flushing.'Easy fix: Just fill the holes with wetsuit sealant or silicone. *Warning:* This is a good strategy if you're using the hood for swimming, but may not be if you are scuba diving (air buildup from your regulator, and all that).

First dive showed it was a nice upgrade nice upgrade and mated well with the SEAC 7mm jumpsuit.covers face well and like how the chin is covered.
