I wear lots of tights, and I'm always on the hunt for ones that fit. I need to lose SOME weight but the way I'm built it's just always going to be a problem. I'm rocking 26" thighs and I got the 5-6X. Measure yours and use that as context for my review! Material: Out of the package these are whisper soft, and the outer feel is nylon/stocking material 100%. The interior has a substantial plush, velvety lining. Out of the package they had a slight soapy (?) musky (?) odor but it wasn't unpleasant? I ran them through the wash and they still retained some of it. Who knows, honestly? Amazon warehouses are, I'm sure, a nightmare box of smells. Construction: No control top, no reinforcements anywhere. Same material from waist to toe, all fleece lined inner with nylon stocking outer. The top features double seams in the rear for extra support and a massive, soft lay-flat waistband that is easily among the most comfortable I've ever contended with. Appearance/Opacity: Matte black, minimal sheen. No denier rating on packaging but by appearance they're similar to 100D. They will hide 100% of leg hair regardless of how thick or dark and they will hide tattoos fairly well if not entirely. Truly opaque, in most lighting I'm pretty sure nearly zero of my skin tone appears through these. Fit: They just about glide on, probably owing to the minimal stretching they can/need to do. These sit fairly close to true size when not being worn and stretch much less than some tights I have owned. Still, they do stretch and they do not bunch or bag in any major way - some minor bagginess noted behind the knees and ankle, but only when bent. The waist band does not roll or dig and sits well above my belly button. In general wear these are super appropriate for winter time, but they aren't stiflingly warm and they definitely aren't locked into that. These would work just fine in an air conditioned office, for instance. They're breathable and they don't shift around or fall out of place. These are honestly so comfortable I just find excuses to wear them, even around the house. They're durable enough that even with near daily wear for the last few weeks and wash cycles to match they still hold up. Some minor exterior pilling but no runs or picks or anything close. Easily worth the price. As a final side note, I have to nominate these for funniest packaging of all time. They come vacuum packed into a flat, vinyl record-sized square piece of stiff plastic. It hisses when you open it. It's delightful and I hope the 4 more I ordered right away come together like some sort of bizarre record collection. Overall, as soon as I tried these on I ordered 4 more pairs in the other colors. Highly recommend.

I was really impressed with these tights. I was worried they weren't going to be stretchy enough, but they were. They aren't bulky and they easily fit under my jeans and yoga pants and leggings. They also provide good extra warmth without overkill. I got the 1X and was afraid I should have done the 2X, but they were still very stretchy. I probably should have gotten the size up, but I'm 5' 4 and was worried they would be too long. The seam at the end of the feet was a tad annoying to me, but I just wore thicker socks and it helped a lot.

Absolutely wonderful. Quality, warmth, comfortable, sizing, material. Definitely happy. They were definitely long enough for me. I'm a big girl - 6'0" tall, 300 lbs. I'm going on a cruise to Alaska and will be ordering different colors.

I haven't worn tights since I was under ten years old and they ALWAYS had me literally itching to take them off before I would go out the door, but THESE are so different and NOT ITCHY!! They're soft and buttery on the inside and actually fit my larger-than-normal thunder thighs. I had to order one size up than what I normally wear but good golly Miss Molly, they fit like a comfy glove and hug you in all the right places! I am so pleased with these insulated tights because I don't get chub rub when. I wear them and they're super opaque. I even went outside into 30 degree Georgia winter weather and didn't feel an ounce of chill. They look super cute and versatile enough to go with any outfit. I do have an issue with how the crotch seams are placed and put them on backwards the first time I wore them, but that's an easy fix. Toe box for the feet is also WAY too big but that's also a no biggie. I can't wait to get more pairs of these and more skirts to wear with them, too!!

Wore these awesome tights this Christmas in Europe which was cold (30*) and rainy. I couldn't believe how warm they were, but without the bulkiness; didn't affect my shoes in any way either. They were the best item of clothing that I brought on the trip. I sized up upon the recommendation of others and do wish that I hadn't sized up quite so much. I'm 5'8" and approx. 215 lbs. While these were super comfy (I even wore them on the 11 hour flight), I think I could have gone one size down to avoid the extra sizing. I'll possibly reorder in 3-4x. As a side note, had to run full-steam through Heathrow to catch a connecting flight. My ballet flat shoes weren't working, so I took them off and ran through the airport - to include the escalators - in just these tights. NOT A RUN, KNICK, OR HOLE with all of that wear. Incredible! Have washed them several times; no balling or any issue. Great value, great purchase.

I'm a 6'-1", 250lb male. I bought two pair to use under jogger-style workout pants to wear while lifting weights in my garage gym during the winter. These leggings are very comfortable & cozy. I think they may run a bit large size-wise as I was about to pull them up over my tummy actually, but still, they don't sag or droop & even pulled up as far as possible, they weren't tight or uncomfortable. They do a great job keeping me warm.

These don't give "black sheer tights you can see your legs through" they are basically just totally opaque black tights. So if that's what you want, I suppose these work, but it's not what I was going for. I recommend the X-Cheng instead. Also, they didn't fit as well as other fleece lined tights I've purchased. They are very saggy around the back of the knee which ruins the illusion of not having anything underneath, and the fleece doesn't go all the way through the toe, which oddly means you can really only wear these with boots or other shoes that come up your leg a ways. The split seem "diaper bottom" thing that people complain about, I only kind of get. If they fit right it's no a big deal, but if they are too small it makes them hard to get on, and if they are too big it does create a weird sagging, so I'll be buying ones with single seams from now on. And... don't think you can just buy one pair and wear them all season, even the other brand that I bought, that I liked better, still is really only good for one wear. Even if they tights don't rip, which they usually do but even if they don't, the fleece starts piling so bad that there's no way you could wear them again. Now all that said, if you don't care about the look at all, and are okay with the aforementioned issues, yes these will keep you warm, even when it's snowing and there's a freeze warning in NYC, and you are just a wee baby from Texas who has no cold tolerance. These WILL keep you warm.

Bought these ages ago because I wanted some of the fleece tights all over social media but they don't do extra large sizes. First time wearing today and if anything they are on the large side (which is good) and they are so warm and comfy.

Tested in -45C windchill. Stretchy, soft, true to size, and most importantly, cozy. I wear dresses all winter. Tried these tights to try and stay warmer. They were noticeably warmer than regular 80 denier tights, even in extreme temps. I will order more for sure.

Im quite large and struggle to find comfortable tights to fit me but these are fantastic. Im a size 26-28 on the bottom and these fit easily and comfortably on me. Nice and warm and nice quality. Got them as thermal tights to wear under my trousers and they are great very comfortable under trousers can hardly feel them they are so soft and stretchy

Warm, soft, and really good quality (they are nice and thick!). They fit well and don't slide down. Worth it!
