Premium quality, surprisingly good rgb
I wasn't sure what to expect when buying this keyboard as I'd never bought a keyboard in this price range before. The build quality overall is very good premium feel to it as you would expect from a brand like Corsair. The keys have a really nice, almost matte finish to the and the MX switches are so much better than I expected, surprisingly quiet for a mechanical keyboard it almost feels like membrane but obviously they're mechanical. They're super responsive with a nice tactile feeling and I'm making far less typos than I was. One thing I was pleasantly surprised by is the RGB lighting, it has a nice muted glow to it that doesn't torture your eyes, perfect for late night sessions. I do hate the icue software though, it's a pile of rubbish but the hardware is solid. Would definitely recommend this if you're looking for your first mechanical keyboard or you don't want something that's too clicky.

Fantastic all-rounder which feels satisfying to use even over prolonged periods
A brilliant iteration on an absolute classic. I have recently switched from the 2012 version of this keyboard, the Corsair K70, to this and the improvements are numerous and noticeable. The keyboard has a satisfying click, the keys are quick to bounce back into position and the RGB effects are pleasing (and easily disabled) even without the need for the additional iCUE software. The noise level is considerate while still satsifying, as I do not feel guilty using this in an office environment - and the magnetic arm rest is easy to use and feels comfortable to rest my hands on.. The media keys work well, however I am not the biggest fan of the rotary dial - though this may be to other peoples' tastes. This keyboard serves me well for programming as well as gaming and I could easily recommend it, especially for the price.

Bad
Its a really good keyboard but the only problem is that keys are way to sensitive. I do a slight press buy not wanting to do it but it reacts on it anyways. Keys are way to sensitive for me. Its way to expensive for how it is. Rgbs are okey and you can controle them with Icue or wallpaper engine. Arm rest is a plastic and isn't comfortable at all. Magnet built in it is so bad that even moving it a bit can detach your arm rest from keybord.

Do not buy if you had one of these before
I'm extending this review. To clarify I wrote the original deliberately without correcting any errors the keyboard created. This thing has now gone in the bin. Its a shadow of the former model, its spongy, has a horrendous double typing problem in the top right quarter, see how many times p becomes pp. I've had no mechanical failures with it but the typing feel is still horrendous. I had the predecessor to this and it was the best keyboard I've ever had, so this one was an overwhelming dissapointment, along with its price point corresponding mouse which also fell apart after < 6 months of normal usage. I don't even game they just wore out from daily driving! Turns out I didn't get something new immediately I stuck with it and tried to adjust my typing style. Its never grown on me and remains awful with a way higher than normal error rate in my typing as a result. For contrast, I've left the original review intact with all its errors and first impression emotion. This keyboard went in the bin in 6 months along with the corresponding mouse. Corsair's quality control across their products appears to have fallen dramatically to me. (Exception of Powersupply those have survived) I was a corsair fanboy, loved everything I've ever had from them save this keyboard and its price point mouse. However, I cant express in words how dissapointing this keyboard was... ___Original Review___ (I deliberately didn't re-type anything errored, while like everyone I do have a typing error rate this keyboard really was a pig!!) IO've nmow got this and my goodness what on earth did they do to the K70 this is nigh on uselsss. its spenongy nonxensse and impssibele to type on/. GHetting something new immediately. Typoed on this k70 My absolutre goodness, I'm leaving all the spelling mistakes delivberly. I can touch tyupe on the older K70 this mnew one ius like a dman spionge with no action atall. Hoipefully / will getr used to it but my absolutely goodness its awful., feels like tyoping on a crembrule I liked myh old K70's soft touch but this is uselless there is no feel at all to it!

Okay, but not great.
Had this keyboard for well over a year now. Pros - - icue is awesome and can do a lot of themes, the lighting is great - Very durable keyboard - The wrist rest is neat and magnetic Cons - - When typing it duplicates the input, this has been ongoing consistently and there is no fix - Very noisy when typing - Sometimes the keyboard has a mind of its own, the RGB will just suddenly stop displaying and takes a lot of tedious messing (resetting the keyboard) to get it back working. Overall it’s a okay keyboard, could be better for the price

Looks nice, but fails to type properly
I bought this, even after reading the other 1 star reviews that said they had trouble with the keyboard double typing letters, with the hopes that the one I get wouldn't have the same issue. Within a week of having it, I started noticing some of the keys were double typing letters. I installed the latest firmware from the corsair software, still no fix. I tried on a different PC, as my logitec g513 carbon had been double typing letters (and more frustratingly; not recognising when some keys are pressed. Hence why I went to get a new keyboard). But still had the issue on the other computer. This is a real shame, as they keys feel amazing to type and game on. As well as the sound of them being pressed was really pleasant to hear. The lighting is really nice too. But even though those additions are really nice, if it can't type properly it's useless.
