Universal Flip-Up Hawse Fairlead Mounted License Plate Holder + Mounting Screw Kit

Needed a flip up license plate to access my winch. This works perfect! I tightened the bolts a bit so it didn’t move as easily and it fits and works perfectly!

It works great on my rear license plate. simple but good working order. looks pretty solid. had a couple minor scuffs but nothing major.

Seems fairly well made, cheap price, and fit my needs perfectly. As Mr. Lin points out, the bolts begin to lightly rust immediately, however, it is a plate holder on a 4x4 so I could care less. I considered building one but I couldn't do it this cheap. If the rust bothers you, I suggest buying some stainless bolts to attach it to your bumper.

Sturdy and well powder coated. Honestly don't think I would be able to bend it by hand. The bolts that pivot are tight enough now that when lifted or down, they hold that position. For the mounting bolts, go to the hardware store and get better stainless options.Looks great on my Warn bumper.

I have tried 2 of these for my tow vehicle and the other 2 were junck. This is a great product. I usually don't rate products but this one is the best without spending the money on junk.

I used this holder to retrofit a folding license plate onto my hitch-mounted bike rack. Worked like a charm with a little drilling to match existing rack holes. The holder's finish looks pretty good and its metal gauge is plenty hefty. I painted all newly exposed metal and used stainless fasteners. I expect it should last, even on a rack that stays on the car out in the weather constantly.
