Review: Great quality and long lasting. - Bought 2 of these about 3 years ago to hold my car hauler trailer fender in place after making the fender removable for car door clearance and they are still good as new today after daily commercial use nearly 3 years later. Buying 2 more now to do the other fender the same way. Review: Work Well - Just installed these on my twin outboards. They work well. This is our 2nd set. They will rust. Our first set lasted about 5 years. ## Features - HEAVY DUTY WEATHER RESISTANT HOLD DOWN: Designed to securely hold hoods, compartments, and panels closed, this rubber hood catch resists weather exposure while maintaining consistent tension during daily use. - EASY GRIP T-HANDLE DESIGN: Features a wide 3 inch easy-grip T-handle that allows quick, tool-free engagement and release, even when wearing gloves or working in wet or dirty jobsite conditions. - U-BRACKET INCLUDED FOR SECURE MOUNTING: Supplied with a zinc-plated carbon steel U-style keeper bracket that delivers reliable alignment, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability in demanding vehicle applications. - DURABLE RUBBER AND STEEL CONSTRUCTION: Combines a heavy duty rubber latch with a zinc-plated steel bracket to handle vibration, repeated opening cycles, and harsh operating environments without failure. - TRUSTED BUYERS PRODUCTS ENGINEERING: Designed with professional installers and fleets in mind, Buyers Products hood catches reflect decades of industry knowledge focused on reliable performance and longevity. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BVP47N5Z | | Additional Features | Lockable | | Best Sellers Rank | #157,605 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #224 in Hood Pins | | Brand | Buyers Products Company | | Brand Name | Buyers Products Company | | Color | Black | | Control Method | Touch | | Controller Type | Hand Control | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 591 Reviews | | Finish Types | Unfinished | | Included Components | WJ201U4 | | Item Dimensions | 9 x 8 x 2 inches | | Item Type Name | Buyers Products Wj201U4 4-7/8 Inch Easy Grip Rubber Hood Catch With U-Bracket, 4 Pack | | Item Weight | 1.3 Pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 9 x 8 x 2 inches | | Lock Type | Catch | | Manufacturer | Buyers Products | | Manufacturer Part Number | Wj201U4 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 1 Year | | Material | Rubber | | Material Type | Rubber | | Model Name | Buyers Products Wj201U4 4-7/8 Inch Easy Grip Rubber Hood Catch With U-Bracket, 4 Pack | | Model Number | Wj201U4 | | Number of Pieces | 4 | | Recommended Uses For Product | securing hoods and vehicle compartments | | Shape | U-shaped | | Smart Home Compatibility | Not Smart Home Compatible | | Special Feature | Lockable | | Style Name | Industrial | | UPC | 724920235907 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Buyers Products Company - **Special Feature:** Lockable - **Lock Type:** Catch - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 9 x 8 x 2 inches - **Material:** Rubber ## Images ![Buyers Products WJ201U4, 4-7/8 Inch Easy Grip Rubber Hood Catch with U-Bracket, Heavy Duty Weather Resistant Hold Down for Vehicle Hoods, Pack of 4 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61vyWggliCL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality and long lasting. *by E***A on September 6, 2025* Bought 2 of these about 3 years ago to hold my car hauler trailer fender in place after making the fender removable for car door clearance and they are still good as new today after daily commercial use nearly 3 years later.
