No issues. It was in a small box. I laid it out flat in the sun for 3 hours and then put in the bed of the truck at which point it was 90% flat. I left the tonneau cover open with the truck in the sun at work for the next two days and now it it looks perfect. You would think it was an oem item.

Folks, I highly recommend this bed mat for your R1T. I know it’s a “truck”, but this extra layer of protection goes a lot way, plus, it improves grip and items will not shift around the bed.Unpacking: just lay flat for a few hours (overnight would be ideal) so all the folds from the packing flatten out.Installation: Super easy. It’s fits perfectly and the grooves/lines align perfectly to the ones on the truck bed.Quality: Great quality and finish. No weird smells, no sharp edges, no defects or imperfections.Overall and amazing value!

This is nice and heavy. I laid out flat pretty fast in the Florida sun. No crazy smell and it hasn't blown away yet. I is doing a good job keeping debris from collecting in the spare tire well.

Seems like good material but it doesn’t lay down as well as I had hoped. It is new so I question if it will lay down more after some time but I think it might be just a little too big. See photo.

Great product. Nice fit and quality. Saw what others were selling and I compared prices and quality. I think this is just as good for a fraction of the other brands out there. It’s easy to clean and protects my truck from further damage and scratches. Wish I had bought it before putting anything in the truck bed!!

This serves the purpose of being a sacrificial protector for the cargo bed. It is fits well and looks good IMHO. I am very pleased with it.

I like everything about this truck bed mat. The fit, the material, the thickness, the design - pretty darn happy with it. It is not just a flat mat that is cut to fit the bed. No, it is a duplication of the current bed design, including the raised strips. As such, it is both a perfect fit, and it looks OEM (original equipment).And one more thing, it edges are raised slightly, sorta like all weather floor mats, but edges aren’t super tall. So this mat will likely contain small spills, or the splashes of water that gets past the tonneau cover when it rains, or is washed. This a nice little added feature that indicates attention to detail in the design.So even though I like this mat, I did deduct one star. Two reasons:1) Mine looked like to was a returned item. The box was moderately worn, but, more importantly, the cover was both dirty (dusty, and what appeared to be water stains), and also jammed into the box rather than neatly inserted.2) A return or not, the fact that it was both folded into a box for shipping and not done with care leads to serious creases, as other reviewers have noted. Plus, in my case, there was a double crease (in two directions) that made it look like the top of a tent with a pole underneath! To be fair, shipping without folding is not likely a good option. Still, the double crease in mine is a poor way to do things.So I followed the instructions about putting it on a flat surface and letting the sun warm it up so that it would lay flat. Well, I’ve had plenty of sun, but apparently it’s just not hot enough this time of year. It didn’t want to lay down at all.So I ended up it taking to my hanger, and placing it on a piece of carpet in the sun. Honestly, it didn’t look like it was ever going to lie down, especially the double creased area. So I ended up putting some strips of wood underneath, probably about 2” wide and maybe 1/2” thick (or so). And I put some 4” wide pieces on the top that more or less perfectly fit the design. Finally, I put some shot bags on top of the wood to add weight. I wasn’t able to get back to my hangar for a couple of weeks, but I was hopeful. Well I got really good results! Now it was laying flat, and looked just fine.Part of my complaint about it being a returned item is what looked to be water spots all over it, basically white stains. So I used my Honda motorcycle cleaner on it, and when I was finished, it looked brand new. Problem solved.I slid it into my truck bed, and voila, and it looks brand new, fits perfectly, and you have to look closely to even notice it’s not the original bed surface.So the mat is a nice rubber material. Not too thick. Doesn’t smell.And I think you will like it in your Rivian. I’m quite fussy, but I really am pleased with it.

As the title says it looks exactly like the truck bed so doesn't look out of place at all. I'm ot concerned about the crease from being folded as its not too bad and will totalllg flatten oncd anything is put on it.
