Looks stylish, not like the plastic cheap looking ones. No visible buttons. Works very well, not too sensitive but goes off when there is a small amount of smoke. Very loud, Easy to reset. I will be buying another one once it needs replaced

Bought these alarms as they are more sleek and modern than the standard plastic alarm. A bit fiddly to activate but easy to install and test. They look great and I would recommend the same alarms! I am hoping the battery will last the 10 years.

Bought this for my bedroom as I wanted a smoke alarm that looks good and doesn't have a LED on all the time. There is an LED under the fabric that comes on but very rarely. Easy to install, either screw to ceiling or use the supplied sticky back pad. Smaller than I imagined. Discreet and good looking even when noticed. Way better looking than your average smoke alarm.

The instructions are Byzantine. Why make something easy when you can complicate? I don't know if it is the translator, but I couldn't make this work for ages. If you are getting one, the only thing you need to do is to click the lid to push the small button down. The WHOLE top surface is sensitive, no need to try to find a little button or activation hole or whatever. Remember, turn dial and stick on ceiling.

Nice design and the plain white, with no markings hides away the unit so I don’t even notice it. Seems loud enough when tested. Have to give it a fair bit of force to activate in first place - it was my second unit, so remembered from first time. Wish there was a similar carbon monoxide detector. Well done for a lovely product, where most alternatives are butt ugly.

HOW TO ACTIVATE: Their online and provided installation info is a little dated and they need to update it, but in short the new model does not have a red 'remove' tag to activate. Twisting the back plate Anti-clockwise takes the plate off, twisting the back cover CLOCKWISE (use a couple pens) and it will move over the little ridges and click into place, activating it. Thats it. Done. They need to update their installation info but after a very quick email to them they cleared it up and I got it installed and activated in under 2min.

I purchased and installed three of these less than a year ago on a ground and first floor. Within three months, one sounded randomly in the middle of a cold (around 0 degrees) night on the second floor. I assumed it was due to condensation and gave it a second chance. It woke us again a few weeks later on a warmer night so I replaced it with another. The other was set off in the middle of a moderate summer night, so I assumed it was faulty and removed it. Shortly after the downstairs alarm also sounded randomly in the middle of an otherwise pleasant and smokeless summer night. Their appearance is delightfully discrete and their alarms suitably alarming, but their alarm being set off appears to bear no relation to fire or smoke in my experience.

Det är så svårt att finna vackert/form och funktion i ett. Men dessa finska brandvarnare är helt fantastiska. Dom har även ett brandlarm som heter Lento i olika färger - lekfullt, annorlunda och superb kvalitet. Underbar design, tack för det.
