Sparthos High Altitude Training Mask, Running Breathing Mask

High quality, arrived as stated and works great! I live in Michigan and plan to return to Colorado to hike pikes peak. This mask is going to help with my training.

Comfortable, with lots of adjustments. I like that you can restrict both the inhale and exhale independently. I also like that it disassembles for cleaning. I think I'd let the strap air dry instead of tossing it in the dryer to preserve the elastic. Easy to take apart and reassemble too. One thing to consider is that this does take up a bit of space on your face, in particular in the nose area. The result is that if you need to wear glasses while you exercise, there may be fit issues. Otherwise this is effective and well thought out and built. 2 thumbs up here!

Ok, here goes. So the mask came quickly and everything was intact. Great!👍🏽 Initially, when I tried the mask on, I was annoyed with a few things and had concluded by the end of the day that I had wasted my money on this item. I'm a 156lb, 5'6" tall female, so imagine when I tried to use the mask a number of times and the fit was just so improper on my frame. It kept sliding down my face, and the air that escaped at the top into my eyes as I exhaled was super frustrating😤! Let me not forget that ugly kink at the ridge of the nose too😓. I thought "this 'one size fits all' comment they state online is total bullshit! Maybe they were referring to 'MEN' (perhaps with straight noses) but that should've been specified in the description😒". Eventually I threw the mask to the side and accepted the loss😡; as I am not a huge fan of returning items online. The next day, something told me to go online and read some negative reviews; and my search led me to a Sparthos Q & A official website. One of the concerns addressed was the fit of the mask; and I decided to try their solution🤔. I brought the top strap up as much as I could to the crown of my head, pulled the back strap as far back down my neck, and pushed the tip of the mask further up my nose, between my eyes. Although the back strap was still a bit long due to the small circumference of my neck, it felt alot more comfortable on my face and the issue I had initially with the air-escape was resolved🤗. That same day I managed to complete a 30-min cardio session with 1 silicon valve in each SVS, restricting breathing out, and fluctuating the setting between 1 and 4 depending on my abilities💪. It was an awesome feeling wearing the mask while working out🏋️‍♀️; and once I finally removed it, I felt a bit more awesome as an athlete🤸‍♀️. My advice to you is: If you are serious about improving your skills and efficiency as an athlete, this mask will work for you! If you have found yourself in a similar position as I had with the fit; then try manipulating the straps as I did before u toss it to the side like I did 😂. I even found out Sparthos does custom-made straps if one is still unsatisfied with the fit☝🏽. So do not be dismayed. Take it from a verified "Inspector Gadget🧐" that you have not been tricked. Yes, better masks are available but they're also more expensive. So if this one works for less cash, why not try to save some moolah💰? Great value for money I think. Totally something I'm sure will benefit me in the long run. Accelerate your awesomeness and don't hesitate...there's a very slim chance you will be disappointed! Amazing Item! Truly.... Noticeable differences within days of usage! Make sure to follow instructions and use it correctly. Besides that, at beginner level ive noticed a massive difference within a week of using it, about maybe 20 minutes a day starting slowing to build up. Great product, east to use, adjustable tabs for inhalation and exhale, and if using one or 2 or the rubber tabs that goes in the mask, and it comes with extras. Very very great product!

This product works very well! It can turn long walks into decent cardio. It also makes you breathe properly and develops diaphragm muscles. Great for whatever goal you have!

It’s a good product. My only issue is the band isn’t tight enough around the back of my head and so when running the mask will slide down slightly covering my nostrils completely. I have to rig it to make a snug fit. Keep in mind when purchasing. Other than that I’d give it 5 stars

Just got back from 5 miles of roadwork. This product is legit. As soon as I took it off, I noticed my lung capacity increased. I feel amazing and after the first use of this product, I can already tell you this is absolutely worth it especially for the price. The size is fine I have a big nose though so it kinda is annoying pressure absolutely amazing mask it’s kind of hard to believe how they can sell something so good for so cheap. I appreciate companies like this. Not to mention how beautiful the Boxing and the case is. Very impressive design! If there is any product out there, that’s beneficial for the people at a good price. This is at the top of the charts.
