Amaco LG-10 Lead Free Liquid Gloss Glaze, Clear, Pint 16 Oz

I used this over underglaze painted bisqueware. I'd bought the bisqueware from Mayco and then painted it using Pasler underglazes (bought off Amazon). And this clear glaze (I did 3 coats) made the colors pop beautifully! I know it says Cone-05 but I fired it to Cone-5 to keep things food safe. And the glaze held up really well - no running, no crazing, pinging etc. Love it! It goes on pink - which is super helpful if you are trying to remember where you applied glaze and where you didn't.

Went on easy and held up well even in cone 10.

This glaze works well, does what it says, but costs more than the equivalent Duncan glaze purchased locally. It does not get milky when applied a little thick, so it would be fine for use with elementary school kids who aren't careful with glaze application.

Amaco is the best! Just what I needed for my project. Fired at cone 4 and it was pretty even had a nice little crackle!

His product was perfect! I used it with underglaze on red clay! The colors stayed true!
