BiXPower5.5 x 2.1mm Right Angle Dongle Connector Converter for 5.5 x 2.1mm DC Power Connector - LD521

I got 2 of these 5.5 x 2.1 right angle adapters for some guitar pedals (Line 6 HX Effects and HD500). I was really happy because they arrived the day after I ordered them. Also they seemed pretty sturdy and were just what I was looking for.Turns out they didn’t fit the pedals I bought them for, but they did fit one of my other pedals. I called up BiX and realized they were within driving distance and the man who answered the phone said to come the next day with my pedal and power supply and I could just trade them in for the right fit.I wish I had known how close they were because I would’ve just driven there instead of paying for shipping from Amazon, but nonetheless, I easily drove to BiX, spoke with the same guy and we found the right adapter (turns out it was a 5.5 x 2.1 female end and 5.5 x 2.5 male end). I just traded in 1 of them and then bought another one with cash. Pretty awesome.Came home and tried the new adapters out and they worked like a charm. Great service and a decent price for something that apparently isn’t easy to find.

I bought this for a U-Turn Audio Orbit turntable that I needed to fit into a tight space. When connected, it sticks out about 0.25 inches/6 millimeters past the back edge of the turntable. I don't know if it makes a difference as far as the placement of the power jack but my turntable has the integrated preamp.The adapter fit the turntable's power adapter and power jack without issue. It is well built and while it is fexible, it's a bit stiff and doesn't hold a bent shape unless something is keeping it that way. This wasn't an issue for me.Overall, I would recommend this if you're in the market for a right-angle power adapter.

Worked great, needed to get a powered speaker closer to the wall and this solved the problem. I didn't know what size adapter to get but after doing some research I found a recommendation of using a drill bit to check the pin and hole size, then convert the fraction to mm. a 5/64 bit will fit the 2.1mm barrel but not a 3/32, a 3/32 bit will fit the 2.5mm barrel but not a 7/64, 7/32 is about 5.5mm.

Wanted to fit a form labs wash near a wall and this adapter was just the part needed. Does not fit form labs cure. You need the 2.5mm for it.
