Perfect for the park. Whenever we go to the park my son always wants to play in the sand or the wood chips and he has a lot more fun doing so when he has little cars to push around in it. These construction vehicles went over even better. The bright colors make them easy to find even while partially buried. They are metal instead of little plastic ones which is really nice since they're a lot sturdier. When you bring a whole bunch of them and then the other kids at the park want to come over and play with him so it always goes over great. They made a great Easter gift, can recommend!

What I liked: * we ordered the colorful set and they really are cute * the detailing is surprisingly good for this style of toy * sturdier and nicer than the plastic construction minis I bought him at Christmas Where I was surprised: * I didn’t realize these were micro diecast until they arrived. * I relied on the photos and the diagram, which made them look larger, and I completely missed the manufacturer’s 1" × 1" × 1" size in the specs. * At about an inch each, they’re much smaller than the diecast construction vehicles I’m used to buying individually in blister packs. How we’re using them: * Because they’re so tiny, I’m repurposing. I'll tuck the ones that fit into plastic Easter eggs (thanks to another reviewer for that idea). * The rest will go into a small organizer box so I can give them to him a few at a time — getting all twelve at once would be a lot at this scale. These could work for tray‑top entertainment on a trip or for kids who like very small toys, but for us the set didn’t feel like the value I expected at this price point. 3.5 rounded up to 4. They have functionality, just a bit disappointing.

The diecast fire trucks are an excellent selection! My five-year-old grandson loves to play with these. The bases are plastic and the tops are a light metal. These little toy trucks are so much fun! My grandchildren have so enjoyed playing with them and love that they can see how true to life they are. They’re a little bit rickety compared to other brands of cars this size, but they have not broken or lost any pieces. The colors are muted, but that kind of adds to the semi-real effect they’re going for. I wouldn’t recommend these for super young children, probably three and older would be best. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase!
