MTRVR Camping Chair Review
This is a review of the MTRVR Camping Chair. Overall, I rate it a 4.7 out of 5.0 stars. This has a lot of features that I was looking for in a chair that was super compact and did not have separate pieces that needed to be put together.Positives:1. Everything is attached to the chair. I have a chair similar to the Helinox Zero chair. What bugs me about the chair is that the legs come separate from the nylon cloth seating material. I have to put the cloth on the ground while I connect all the legs of the frame together, though they are still tethered together, then stretch the cloth over the frame. The MTRVR comes all attached and just folds in one direction with the legs surrounding the seating cloth. This minimizes your chance of losing pieces or dropping the seating material on a wet/muddy ground.2. The chair folds as compact as the Helinox Zero backpacking chair.3. The chair appears to have thicker legs and to be much sturdier build than most chairs in this category.4. Ease of setting up and wrapping up when leaving. Just unfold and snap the legs down into the locking position to set up. Putting it away after is just a release of the lock and fold the legs up together and velcro the legs with the attached strap.5. Comfort of the chair if you are with the normal limits of an average human.Negatives:1. This chair is durable, and this means it is a lot heavier than a similar packed Helionix Chair. I did not weigh both, but it felt 2-3 times as heavy.2. This chair may not be comfortable for someone maybe under 4'10" (legs may not reach the ground and may cut off circulation) or even fit a big framed person like someone well over six feet (it is not the widest chair with enough back support).Overall, we rate this a 4.7 out of 5.0 stars. This is an easy to set up, compact, durable, comfortable camping chair. However, you will not take it hiking due to the weight and if you are on the extremes of size and height, it may not work for you.

Customer Service was great regarding defective product with requesting and receiving a replacement!
My husband ordered this chair and was so excited to use it, but we live in Alaska so he had to wait a couple months to use it, due to weather (so much snow!) and his work schedule. He first used it at our son’s baseball game, but after he set it up, he sat down in it and one of the leg snapped in half and he fell down with the chair.Thankfully he wasn’t hurt, but the chair leg like my husband’s feelings was crushed. Due to waiting to use it when the weather permitted, the Amazon return window had closed. So, I was able to find the email address for customer service and I sent in pictures, original order info, and a description of what happened.I received a very nice response and great news that they would send a replacement chair and had to provide my delivery address.Shortly after I received an email with the order number. Then 4 days later I received another email stating my product had shipped and I had a USPS tracking number. Approximately 5 days later, we received the new chair and my husband has been very happy in his new chair and he has had plenty of opportunities to sit in it since we received it.It is a great chair, we just happened to get one with a defect and that happens.I was very happy with the customer service I received from the representative I worked with for this issue; prompt communication and overall pleasant experience. Not only would I recommend their High Back Folding Camping Chair for Adults, Heavy Duty 600 lbs Capacity, No Installation Needed, but it’s nice they do stand behind their work with a lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects. My husband looks forward to baseball season regardless, but he is much more comfortable in his awesome chair now. One additional thing he likes about it is that it folds up small enough to transport easily. While it’s rated to hold up to 600lbs, it is quite light to carry and comes with a nice, zippered carrying sleeve with a strap.

Very sturdy portable chair.
Very sturdy, well made, and compact. I used to use the type of chairs you'd have to put together every time which ended up becoming a hassle. I did have to give up on the lightness as this product is rather heavy compared to the previously mentioned styles, but something I'm fine dealing with. The one gripe I do have about this chair is that sometimes it doesn't lock in place when folded out. Sometimes you really need to snap it open if you will, to make sure it locks. If not, when you go to sit down on it, the chair will fold in on you.

Dangerously unstable.
The media could not be loaded. Was very excited about receiving this. I have been looking for a compact camping chair that would be able to pack easily. The size is perfect for that. However, the chair seems to dangerous to use. This chair has a high weight capacity in which I am nowhere near, and it feels very unstable when sitting in it. The chair wobbles a lot, I believe the legs do not stick out far enough for a stable base. When I stood up I almost fell forward because the back legs came up. This could be extremely dangerous when sitting around a camp fire. I tested it out a few more times, and although i never almost tripped again, the rear legs always came up. I even let my 5 year old who weighs 45lbs test it out, and the chair popped up again. We have used other light weight chairs, such as the tent pole style chairs, and never experienced this. I would not feel safe with him using the chair. Some other cons of the chair include, it feelsVery tight. The front legs stuck into my legs, and with my arms by my side and sitting inside of it, the chair hugged too tight. The pillow is hard and rods were a little tough to open. Now, due its size i could over see most of these cons becuase it is really what I'm looking for, but it is too unstable to be safely used so I will be sending it back.
