Great machine
After years of owning a Henry I fell into the cordless vacuum market and kid myself that they worked just as good, well the last one did the dreaded battery death once again and I thought I d go back to a Henry, oooh how much I had missed it, simple to use, better suction etc, this time I brought the smaller one { 6 liters } which is perfect for my situation, ran over the carpet { owner of the hairiest dog in the world } with my old hoover and then with this one, I was shocked how much more hair etc went into Henrys bag, its a simple machine that just gets on with the job, its brush head { the small hard one } picked up more hair from the furniture than the cordless ones special { and pricey } pet hair remover head , simple to empty, nice long reach, happy to give another one a home.

Vacuuming Like a Boss
Vacuuming Like a Boss: My Epic Tale of the Henry HVR 160-11 Bagged Cylinder Picture this: It’s 3 AM, the house looks like a tornado hit a cat toy factory, and I’m staring down a mountain of glitter-dusted crumbs that could qualify as an archaeological dig site. Enter the Henry HVR 160-11 Bagged Cylinder Vacuum – my shiny red knight in corded armor, swooping in to save the day (and my sanity). I bought this bad boy on a whim, half-expecting it to join the graveyard of “impulse buy” gadgets in my garage. But oh, sweet merciful suction, it was like a dream come true. The moment I plugged it in, Henry roared to life with the enthusiasm of a caffeinated golden retriever – not too loud to wake the neighbors, but with enough gusto to make my old, wheezing vacuum look like a deflated whoopee cushion. Maneuverability? It’s like Henry’s got wheels smoother than a figure skater on ice. Glides over rugs, hardwood, and that one rogue Lego brick that always trips you up, without so much as a dramatic pause. The bagged system? Genius. No more sneezing through clouds of dust like I’m auditioning for a bad allergy commercial – just pop in a fresh bag, and poof, filth contained like a villain in a comic book. And the power? Holy Hoover, Batman! This thing inhaled a year’s worth of pet hair, mystery sock lint, and what I suspect was a small ecosystem of crumbs in under 10 minutes. Works perfectly, folks – no clogs, no breakdowns, just pure, unadulterated clean. My floors haven’t sparkled this hard since… well, ever. If your home is a battlefield and you’re tired of surrendering to dust bunnies, grab a Henry HVR 160-11. It’s not just a vacuum; it’s a revolution in a red tub. Five stars, infinite laughs, and zero regrets. Who’s vacuuming next? Not me – Henry’s got this! 🚀

As good as I remember, superb no matter which size or model
I have been tired of buying cheap vacuums and them breaking or having no suction for a long time. I remember using Henrys years ago and always remembered them to be excellent. Simple, very effective, sturdy and do exactly what they are designed to do. I have used Dysons in the last few years and while I found them also very good, I could justify the hefty price tags. Going back to my earlier memories of using Henry, and based on recommendations by family members and friends I decided to go with a Henry... and what a difference.. Nearly sucked up my rugs, cat and everything else in my path. Yes some Dysons or whatever are a little more manoeuvrable, 'easier' so to speak. But they are also more prone to complications and faults, plus make a mess when trying to empty. Henry just does what it does, and does it very well. There's a reason they don't need to advertise, the quality and longevity/fixability speaks for itself. Note: I ummed and arred for a while, confused by the different models and not sure which to get, or which was more powerful or true to the original etc.. I just went for the 160 6l eventually, and feared it would be a cheaper and presumably less effective version, but holy... No matter which version you get the results are mind-blowing. Works especially well in an old house with old hardwood floorboards, fireplace, rugs etc. (Adjusting the power using the vent is advised, and easily achieved, on rugs or more delicate things) I rarely leave reviews, but this is worth one, and the reason they do so well.

Very quiet
Quiet. Powerful. Useful attachments. The main attachment doesn't glide across carpets as well as a previous machine from another company. Overall, neat, compact and good vakue

Judge him not by his size, for the suction is his ally. And a powerful ally it is..
It was a cloudy boring day when Henry arrived on my doorstep, i was out when the amazon delivery man called so my neighbours brought him round and to my annoyance i found the item wasnt wrapped so all and sundry could see what id bought... With anger pulsing through my nerves like raw electric wires, i brought the item in. Throwing the couple from number 32 a fake smile and thanking them for bringing the item i slammed the door shut and frantically looked for the nearest cushion to holler into. Id been exposed in the most dire way by amazon.. Then suddenly i heard a rustling from deep within the box. My first thoughts were: after what theve just done, now they've gone a put a drone in there (or a minature camera man) to expose me and throttle the life out of the last few shreds of dignity i had left. It was all for naught however, as i opened the box with utmost caution, out popped henry the hoover with a huge grin spread across his face like raspberry jam. "Ahoy!" he seemed to mumble, though of course he lacked the proper equipment to form coherent words. And already he was on the job, he leaped out ready to punch his card in and get down to some serious hoovering. No need to spend much time assembling this chap, he will do it himself!! Within seconds he was fumbling around in the box, taking out various pieces and slotting them in here and there. With the harder to reach areas he would hand me an object and gesture as to where it went and then followed by what motion i needed to complete the task, i.e screw or push. Then Henry the 1st or henry "the red devil" hoover if you'd prefer, lept to the task at hand. His eyes scanned the room and settled on the wall socket to which he then ran over to and plugged himself in - his eyes becoming wild as the current flowed though him. He zipped through the kitchen and lounge like a fly through an open window. Sucking up all like a cheery little hurricane - stopping for none and seizing the day. But then.. He came to the sheep skin rug. He paused. Mind a blaze, swinging and swirling, until he reached into his tool belt and changed his attachment. He then hooverd the rug with his signature gusto and all was well. So to cut a long story short... Id give young henry five stars. He has very strong suction and a long cable. By far the best hoover ive ever used (dyson included). Thanks for reading!
