TOP GEAR!.
Here I will attempt to give my Experiences an Impressions of the MicroSwiss Hot End!. First I was a bit surprised its called Micro Swiss but its made here in the U.S.????? But We Live In The times We Live In Right!. First off I must say it is a Very Good Unit for as a young fella i had toolshop training and i have to say in quality the Unit i received was first rate . Now I received My Order quickly so as usual both Amazon and the Seller has their act together and i can only say 'Good Going' guys on the shipping, You did well!... TO INSTALL: I wont go into 'Great Detail' here as their are YouTube videos that explain the detail better then i can. Put simply if you have simple tools most Americans have, And you are capable say of fixing a Kitchen Faucet then you should be able to assemble and mount a MicroSwiss Hot End to a Ender Printer ,. 'Now This Is A Balancing Act as Its Important to understand the Pluses and Minuses!'... See My problem was My Bodwin tube melted and started causing my hot end to leak!!!!!. Granted I couldn't see re-placing this with a factory unit, So i bought a MicroSwiss and a new High Temp tube!..... So if you are buying this to replace a Bad or Worn or a Defective Hot End then this is a deal for you!... But if you ARE buying this just to increase temps so you can process NYLON or Hi Temp materials then 'This Part' alone cannot help you!. In fact it was a 'Bad Disappointment' to find despite adds to the contrary!... Yes and truly Micro Swiss is a top grade part and is an improvement over the factory Hot End!. And i definitely like the way my parts are coming out now, But in truth it only adds about 5 degrees to my operating temperatures!. This Part Does NOT Automatically of itself INSURE that 'Your Machine' will run NYLON!. In Truth Its Kinda A Half and Half Thing!. Most Folks are buying this or something 'like it' for 'Ender Printers' to increase Melt temperatures!. But due to Computer Settings and P.I.D. Enders are 'Locked Down' to 260C O.K. Plus the Heat Block on the Micro Swiss is plain Aluminum and not the Stainless Steel I was hoping for. As that alone "drastically" limits Operating Temperature. Please remember THIS is not a fault, It is simply the way that part is designed to run/operate!. Very Fortunately I Dont have to run Nylon in my normal work!. Yes if i changed the 'Junk Aluminum' block with a Copper Block which Amazon carries that could possibly kick me up towards 270C which would make it more realistic to run some of the newer Nylons that Amazon is currently listing and those are Quality Goods!. Now with a 'Stock Hot End' I ran 'Taulmans 230' which is a low temp NYLON and it turns out some fine parts that has to be said, But i must also point out its not Rock Hard but its good for use where toughness is needed but some flexibility is allowed,. To Close let me state that the MiscroSwiss is good and a fine choice to replace worn and bad parts as it certainly does a fine job in the normal temp range the Machines. were originally designed for!. But clearly DONT buy an ENDER if you intend to run NYLON as that machine simply isnt set up for it!. Yes some people try altering PID or tampering with the computer code and have wound up damaging their machines. Buy a Prusa or a different make which is more Modern and Up to Spec!. But for my uses MicroSwiss makes a fine part, it installed easy, Runs fine and does its Job!. Recommended! IndianaED

10,000% satisfied! I will never use another hotend for my CR-10S
GOBSMACKED! I have this on my completely modded and upgraded CR-10S. I don't even know how to start this review. I am more than happy with the improvement the Micro Swiss made for my printing style. Let's start with the installation - there are many you tube videos showing an installation method using the existing heater block. DONT USE THE OLDHEATER BLOCK - IT SUCKS. It comes with an upgraded and improved heater block that grasps the heating element better with more contact, and the thermal sensor rests several mm further inside the block now giving much more accurate readings. I was able to heat the block up to 200c in around 20-25 seconds. Simply letting more of the heating element come into contact with the block itself is much more efficient for heat transfer. Extrusion - this is when I got a big smile. When it extrudes and stops - the filament almost falls off rather than make a long thinning string and it droops downwards. A perfect example of how well the cooling end is working in tandem with the titanium heat-choke. Less heat sneeking up into the cooling block means less excess filament sneaking down and making strings. Its so simple and works so well. I was pushing filament through it and when I stopped, not a moment too late, it stopped extruding unlike the stock hot end that would have globs come out as it heated up. Yeah youll get a TINY amount but nowhere near what the stock hot end did. I designed a torture test that is a dense ring on the first layer (mainly to assess bed plate adhesion and level), Im using this on an ANYCUBI UltraBase (which really sucks but is super level), and long story short - the extruder was consistent under torture loads around 200mm/s! LOL I would never print at this speed but it was aboe to melt and keep melting flawlessly. Won me OVER! The quality and craftsmanship of the parts is AAA quality. The heat break is solid machined and polished titanium. The metal threading was medical or aircraft grade at first glance. Enough said - go buy one!

What a great upgrade, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase!
I added one of these along with a few other upgrades (BL Touch, flex steel bed, Bullseye Fan Duct) to my Ender 3 all at the same time and was really impressed with how easy it was to install, and how everything just worked. Yes, you will need to provide your own heater cartridge, and thermistors, but anyone who has been printing for more then a few weeks will already have a few of these laying around as spares (if not they are cheap enough to buy along with this upgrade). The actual part install took maybe 10-15 minutes, and that was mostly me double and triple checking the install instructions to make sure I wasn't missing any steps. And then you are back up and running. I had seen where others complained about PLA sticking in an all metal hot end, but so far I have not had that issue. I'm using Capricorn tubing, and made sure to dip a few inches of PLA into some organic canola oil before feeding it into the printer. I did that for my first few prints, but this last batch of things that I've printed I've skipped it and PLA flows just fine out of it. On average I do feel that its a little expensive for what you get, but I also didn't want to fiddle around with cheaper hotends, or trying to adapt an E3D style hotend to the printer. Convince and ease of install is worth the extra money.

A Mixed Experience that ended well.
Originally I intended to use this to replace my now defunct hotend on my ender 3. After months of using the stock hotend, I finally stripped the threads by overtightening a nozzle. Installation of the Micro Swiss hotend went great initially, but then devolved into chaos. I had nothing but trouble. I had thought I was very careful and meticulous with the installation of the hotend, only to find that no matter how careful I had been, the threaded hole for the heat break and nozzle had burrs in it before I assembled it, causing massive clogs that took hours to clean out. I reinstalled after cleaning it, and still had issues. I wrote my initial review then, giving the product 2 stars. I planned to reorder the entire thing again thinking I just got a bad product, but then the Micro Swiss team reached out to me. I am very pleased with my experience from this point forward. I sent photos of the damaged hotend, and they sent back new replacement parts for the parts that didn’t work out. They attached a photo that helped me to install the new hotend with care, and a video that explained everything very well. This customer service experience was superb, and probably the best I’ve had with a company on Amazon to this day. While I am still disappointed in the initial product I received, the company worked to fix my issue extremely quickly and had a new hotend shipped to me that arrived only a few days later, with excellent instructions on how to install it. I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH how important it is to follow the installation instructions to the dot, as it has worked perfectly since then. It’s a bummer that my initial experience with Microswiss was so sour after hearing nothing but good things about them, but they worked quickly to fix my view of their company and deliver a quality product that I’ve been using since. Thanks to this experience, I’ve upped my rating to 4 stars. It would be a perfect 5 star given the exceptional help, but I can’t help but feel that I shouldn’t have experienced issues with the product in the first place, hence the docked star. I recommend this hotend, because even if you somehow end up with one that doesn’t work out, if you can provide proper documentation of the mistakes, they’ll fix them at a moments notice. Great hotend. Dependable and consistent!
Exact fit for an Ender 3 Pro. I've been running this consistently for well over a year now and haven't had a single issue. Once, I accidentally ran out of filament, and it finished and cooled before I noticed. This wasn't an issue for this hotend, as I heated it back up, ran more through and I was back in action! The flow is not nearly as high as some other designs for this printer, but the dependability is rock solid. I don't get any temp fluctuations, as long as you re-calibrate your PID.

Overpriced unnecessary purchase
So I thought since this “all metal” hotend was so expensive that it would be superior. Quite the contrary. This thing is junk. And I messed with it non-stop. So there is no possibility that I did anything wrong. It would repeatedly clog. It gets air in it. It prints trash prints. Now I will say that it worked great when I first connected it. But that’s all it did is work. The prints weren’t good at all. Instead I got really deep lines and terrible extrusion. My extruder kept skipping after maybe the fifth Print and I would have to take everything apart clean it and then put it back together. I wasted couplers and PTFE tubing zip ties and you name it. Then I bought a $10 replacement hot end and I’m getting perfect prints again. Now Before I made the purchase I seen very mixed reviews. But I like to make my own opinions for myself. I would also like to say after six or seven years of using Amazon this is maybe the fifth review that I’ve left. I felt compelled two explain my pure distain for spending so much money for a terrible product. And it is an absolutely terrible product, I understand the entire all metal hot end idea but the design just isn’t good. There’s too much room for error. And I’m just printing PLA. I can only imagine trying to print woodpla or something harder. My suggestion, buy cheap hard ends. If you use your printer a lot they need replaced sometimes anyway. This is just an overpriced hotend that will just create more printing problems. I will also mention that I was printing with overture PLA on an ender3dpro with Bowden tubing from an all metal extruder. That being said, I shouldn’t have had any problems at all. The micro Swiss all metal hotend is just an overpriced hunk of junk.

Excellent upgrade
I love that ir came earlier than expected thats Always Great &much appreciated! But this thing seems to really make a difference.&one thing I really liked is it IS ABSOLUTE drop it replacement on the Ender3 pro &v2! It was Super easy to install! Print quality is about the same,, a little better on some things &a little less stringing on some things also but that could of been the fixing the PTFE fittings.. but I'have noticed im not getting nearly as many clogs when working with new martial &no clogs at all on my ender3 v2 I started running abs on. I've definitely noticed a difference in both my ender 3pro &v2. Once I purchased 1 for my v2 I was soon ordering another one. I might even try the direct drive setup. But this was definitely worth the minor investment for the micro Swiss hot end. I'd Definitely recommend it for you machine over a stock hot end. Brilliant!
Worked like a dream. Before installation I was getting a number of blockages in the hotend due to heat creep and couldn't get rid of it no matter how much a mucked around with the slicer and wasted half a role of filament attempting to dail it in. Bought this and it was essentially plug and play and with a bit of PID test and tweeking, it worked brilliantly

Non volevo assolutamente spendere così tanto per una hot end Ho acquistato tre cloni low cost Nonostante varie modifiche, prove di settaggi infiniti e un’enorme perdita di tempo, questi cloni non hanno mai funzionato Il problema era l’intasamento e la continua variazione della portata (flow) anche cambiando vari ugelli Questo della swiss è perfetto Migliorata la stampa, flow costante Riesco a stampare pet senza fondere il teflon Montato su CR-10S4 con modifica ad estrusore diretto Consigliato

Super mais pas pour débutant.
L’article est de belle qualité mais sa mise en œuvre est complexe pour le débutant : buse bouchée systématiquement pendant l’impression malgré les modifications de paramètre slicer (rétraction). Mon objectif étant d’imprimer plutôt que démonter / monter la tête d impression, j’en ai acheté un autre plus classique.

Ma gusta más que el v6
Llevo ya bastantes meses con este hotend en mi Ender 5 PRO. Me encantan porque no he tenido ni un atasco, parece increible pero es así. He imprimido PLA, PETG y FLEX sin ningún tipo de problema, eso si la impresora está modificada para imprimir con extrusión directa. Puedo compararlo con el V6 porque tengo una Prusa MK3S. La boquilla se cambia mucho más fácil que en un V6 que lo tienes que desmontar solo para cambiar una boquilla. Una de las cosas que más me gustan es que al tener la pieza que separa el disipador del bloque calentador de titanio no deja pasar nada la calor por lo que impide que tengas atascos. La verdad, es una pasada, totalmente recomendado.
