I ordered this to use as a treat for my dog Louis who has been doing scentwork classes. The piece are small and easy to quickly reward. They're also not stinky or greasy in the treat bag, but are flavorful enough to be high value. I've found myself using the food for other purposes as well. Sometimes Louis can be a picky eater, so I use a little as a topper. I also keep a little with me on walks to distract/redirect from things that he tries to pick up off the road lol. The price is good for the two lb. bag, which has lasted me a while. I'd love to be able to feed him this primarily, but it would be hard to afford at his size.

I have a Furbo treat tosser and was looking for something to put in it that would not be just empty calories. This air dried beef food work perfectly in it. The food doesn’t have the heat processing that removes all of the nutrients, thereby being healthy for your pup. It tends to clump, but is easily broken down to smaller pieces that will toss easily. There is a bit of “dust,” for lack of a better word, but I’ll take that any day in order to see the tail wags my pup gives and the eagerness he has for treat time. He loves this food! I’m also using it as training treats for my foster fail. She seems to love them just as much.

I use this as training treats and in my opinion it’s perfect for this purpose. Very palatable and nutritious. It’s dry and shelf stable. I also use it when traveling—compact and encourages my dog to eat when he’d rather worry.

This food may be too rich for my toy poodle. I gave it to him two days in a row, and he has terrible diarrhea. I’m gonna hold it back for a while and try again. but I must say he loved the taste and gobbled it right up after I try it again in a week or two and his stool is fine. I will come back and change my review.

Full disclosure: I bought this @ $20usd per 2lb bag. on a "Lightning Deal" to try it out. Dog loves this mixed w/normal Kibble. Mix 1/3Pawstruck + 2/3 kibble @ $20 I had a problem w/cost. @ normal price of $30 Makes it impossible for regular people to afford. it doesn't matter how good a product is if it is too expensive. ie Chicken vs Lobster, Yeah ?

The ingredients are great and my dog loves it. I use it as a topper. It is less expensive than other brands with same ingredients.
