Sasuke, Forbidden Jutsu & Passing the Torch
This twelfth box set for the 'Naruto Shippuden' series contains another thirteen episodes (141 to 153) across two discs. The first three episodes of this set see Sasuke learn the truth about his brothers past from 'Madara'/Tobi before joining the Akatsuki. In order to prove himself as a member of the Akatsuki, Sasuke and his team are tasked with capturing the Eight- Tails Jinchûriki, Killer Bee of the Hidden Stone Village. These three episodes are quite entertaining with the battle between Killer Bee and Sasuke's team being very well done and is probably one of my favourite battles from the series so far. 'Madara'/Tobi's story about Itachi's past is also quite interesting. The next eight episodes in this set are a filler arc that sees Naruto and his team sent to protect a young woman, Hotaru, who holds the secret of a powerful Forbidden Jutsu from the people who are trying to steal it. The thieves aren't the only danger though as Hotaru's reluctant teacher Utakata has his past catch up with him as well. This filler arc is reasonably entertaining that expands on the character of Utakata, who turns up later on in the series proper, and includes some interesting moments and some quite nice character moments for the characters introduced for this arc. I do feel that the action in this filler arc is unfortunately somewhat lacklustre but it does at least have some interesting jutsu on display. The final two episodes in this set see Naruto return to the Hidden Leaf and discover the fate of Jiraiya. These two episodes are very good, with some quite emotional moments throughout. The episodes also begin to setup things for the next major arc of the series. The thirteen episodes in this box set are all entertaining in different ways and although the filler arc in the middle of this set is somewhat weaker than the episodes that cover the proper story, it is still reasonably entertaining. The animation and the English voice acting are both as good as they usually are for the series (the set also includes the original Japanese as usual). Overall this twelfth box set of the 'Naruto Shippuden' anime is worth around four to four and a half stars.

good dvd
This Naruto is as great as every other Naruto and I really enjoyed watching it. Me and my brother especially loved Killer Bee and addressed everyone with YO! for the rest of the day. Unfortunately the ending made me scared of Naruto being more grown up in the next series and I dread the thought of a grown up Naruto. Altogether another brilliant Naruto, and sad as it may be I, look forward to series 13

Naruto is back!
Finally after such a long wait the time to lie in bed and watch Naruto Shippuden consecutively is here, my first impressions of the DVD case was how nice the new artwork looked. I couldn't believe the amount of excitement I had finally being able to watch the cliff-hanger we got left with on box set 11, and you can trust me when I say they do not disappoint. All the answers about Madara Uchiha are answered also with the truth about Itachi Uchiha. On top of that you get some *in my opinion* extremely note worthy battles and interesting characters. Unfortunately it's not all happy news the reason being 8 of the 13 episodes on this box set are in fact filler, not the worst filler I've seen but filler just the same. I still give this boxset 5 stars because at the end of the day it's still Naruto and this box set will be loved by any Naruto fan I promise you that. Video and Audio are pretty much the norm for Naruto Shippuden but I would like to point out in the "Epic" fight scene in this box set the artwork and Video quality is flawless and some of their best work.Overall I would definitely approve of getting this to add to your Naruto collection, enjoyable storyline with some important information you can't afford to miss.

Fillers. And lot's of them.
Was absolutely hyped for this dvd as I refuse to watch the anime online as this is high quality picture which is always pleasing for the eye as I think we can all agree on. But I did not realize that all of this would be fillers apart from 3 episodes (the first and the last two) which was very disappointing and not particularly worth £17. Still full of beautiful animation and If you enjoy fillers in anime's then this is the dvd for you but for me this was a bit of a main, and if any Naruto fans out there who are like me do not watch it online and wait for the dvd's, the next dvd will be VERY exciting.
