was a Christmas gift and she was soo excited to get it so i'd say it was a great success and worth it. I first saw this smaller style at Aldi but failed to get it in time so I had to turn to the internet and Amazon is where I found this awesome extended set.

Liked the extra ink and the book looks very helpful. The packaging makes it look like there's mire there than actually is, so my granddaughter was a little let down at what was actually in the box when she opened this gift.

I like all what you get with the kit but the book doesn’t explain how to pop the ink refill in, had to google it. Once I finally get the ink to come out, it keeps getting clogged in the ink pen and isn’t easy to use. I’m highly disappointed on how many reviews raved how easy these are to write with, but I’m having this hardest time with the ink not working with me

I’m really hating this “beginners set” I can’t get the ink to come out. The book doesn’t tell you anything but how to write...well would be nice if you could get the ink to come out to start. What came in the mail is NOT what I ordered either. I’m having a hard time with buying a product and not being what was said I was ordering. It’s frustrating...I just wanted to mess around with calligraphy and see if I liked it...buying this set will not be a fun or learning experience..trust me. And now I either eat my money wasted or I take too much time shipping the piece of crap back and waiting forever to get my money back...which is also a very annoying thing about this....I bought BEGINNERS SET bc I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CALLIGRAPHY PENS!! Why do I have to GUESS HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE THE PEN!?!?

I had fun with this. However it can be messy. The ink bottles leaked after opened so remember to store them upright. It was fun to use traditional calligraphy pens however they take practice! Change the position if it’s not working for you. Packaging could’ve been half the size. Big box for little items.

Love that it goes over all the fundamentals of it. Really easy

I like the product as convenient and easy assemble but the ink doesn’t flow continuously. I had to constantly removing and placing the ink back into the barrel. I have attached a photo, as you can see some of the ink are on my fingers.
