I’m very impressed with the shelving unit. Not only is it functional and attractive, but the assembly process was about as smooth as I’ve ever experienced with furniture. The shelving was very well packaged. The hardware was organized in a well-marked, multi-packet strip so that there was no guesswork regarding which screw or bolt went with what part. I will be storing vinyl records on the shelving. It is the perfect size for this. Each shelf is thick enough that o have no doubt that it will store my records without bowing on the middle. The unit was priced right, especially for the solid, high quality components. I’m very pleased with this purchase and would definitely make this purchase again.

I love this! I use it as a shelf for all my heavy law books and other items. COLOR: It’s a little bit darker grey than the photos indicate (the rest of my furniture is a bit lighter) but it works. My apartment has similar furniture (industrial modern meets cheap 😅) so the color difference doesn’t really bother me. If you’re looking for a very specific color, the photos I included are what it looks like in natural light. Not as brown as what the demo photos show. STURDINESS: I was a little skeptical about the sturdiness of this shelf while putting it together but once I put it together, there is NO WOBBLE. The shelf boards themselves are NOT FLIMSY at all. I also have concrete walls, so I didn't want to bother mounting it since it was sturdy enough. Honestly, unless you plan on having heavy items on the top, I don't think you need to mount it to the wall. ASSEMBLY: The instructions are not that clear, but I was able to assemble it by myself over my lunch break. The whole thing was complete in less than an hour. I had a lot of trouble with the cross bars — the nuts I received to attach the bars to each other at the “X” didn’t want to thread, but the crossbars don’t seem to add a whole lot to the load-bearing ability of the shelf. (If they are, I’m sorry. I’m an engineering school dropout, okay?) All around, it was easy enough to assemble and took me less than 45 minutes. If you had two people, it would probably not even take you 30 minutes. VALUE FOR PRICE: We’ll see how this thing holds up, as I anticipate adding many more of my law school textbooks, but overall, it seems really sturdy for the price. Nothing was scratched or chipped on the particle board, and there are small details that make it worth it (the levelers on the bottom for uneven floors, visible [fake] wood grain that looks nice, no wobble, etc.) I’d recommend this to any grad student.

Had been shopping for a console for some time that would fill the empty wall as you walk in my living room & that also matched the white, black, blue & grey decor in my living room. I looked at soooo many console tables and kept coming back to this one. I finally purchased it and couldn’t be happier! I put it together by myself during a 45 minute break from work. Instructions are very clear and had all the tools I needed to assemble by myself. This can be assembled by one person if the instructions are followed and assembled on its side & being careful to not tighten the bolts down until the table is fully put together. Love the weight & sturdiness of this table & the simple yet gorgeous look of it, it’s all around wonderful table. Great value for the price! Definitely recommend and would purchase ten times over!!

I just finished putting this together and aside from me making my life harder by not looking at the directions well enough, I’d like to say this thing is really well made. The holes lineup, so you don’t have to bend the parts to make it work, and It feels like quality material is used. Oh yeah, they did make good directions (just be smarter than me and look at them first and not after you realized you put something together wrong🙄) it comes with plenty of hardware, even some extras just to make sure me the customer, didn’t have a problem with that. And last, but not least the darn thing looks good.

I read a lot of the reviews before deciding to purchase the console table. Many people said they struggled putting it together, and a few said they had no problem at all. I'm adding to the "no problem" count. Directions say 2 people are required, but I'm pretty sure that's for safety reasons because they also say to assemble it on its side. Which - at least for me - took away the need for a 2nd person. Where I needed help was getting the box into the room I was putting it in before opening it up. But had I not had someone to help me, I would have just opened it and carried each piece individually. The assembly process went fine; no troubles at all. After assembling the frame you then attach the middle and bottom shelves while it's all still on its side. So at that point I laid the top board on the floor bottom up and flipped the rest upside down so I could put the bolts into the top board easier. Then tightened all the bolts everywhere before turning it right side up. It is VERY sturdy, and held up to turning it over without any wiggling. The shelves are a lot thicker than you normally find on this type of furniture, so I'm confident it will stand the test of time and use. The X pattern braces lend to how sturdy the frame is, also. It's a great addition to my space. And...once again...very easy to assemble. Just be sure to put the bolts in loosely until you have them all in place and you'll be fine. You will not regret purchasing this table.
