Bugatti Veyron Super Sport of Satire (that means it's got a lot of horsepower - like a 'vehicle')

What can one say about this, or indeed any of Mr. Lee's efforts?Mr Lee is clearly exceedingly, and refreshingly, intelligent. He is also well educated and knows his onions (of which I can only think of red, Spanish, pickled, spring and fried so that tells you how 'off the chart' he is intellectually).Hang on - shallots - there's another one.Anyway Mr. Lee has not let his educational privilege go to waste, like some Sue Perkins type, but instead tries to keep the grey matter ticking over.To that end he is a master at observing the imperfections of human kind - as if he has appointed himself as judge, jury and executioner when it comes to describing modern society and all the flaws that come with it.He does legitimately look down on the human race, totally self assured that his undoubted intellect, coupled with said observational ability, place him well above the hoi polloi. In effect he cannot hide his justifiable contempt for people, as he clearly does not just believe, but knows that he is superior to most people. His erudition and cynicism place him apart from society, as he undoubtedly finds it difficult to lower himself, or suffer the indignity of rubbing shoulders with ignorant proles, or the moronic public - which are in effect the same thing.I would imagine a party at his place would have to have an entrance examination - and quite right too.To many he may seem condescending but that is the pitfall of genius and I should know.If you are way above the base line of intelligence then many people will, by comparison, appear as cavemen, communicating in little better than grunts, and will therefore be incapable of even beginning to comprehend the subtleties of what is trying to be communicated.A bit like a football fan, street sweeper or a builder for instance. In such a situation, which for me is the norm, it is understandably impossible not to develop a heightened sense of ones superior nature, and subsequently develop a lowered sense of the value of these supposedly 'fellow' members of society.I doubt I could walk by an Aldi or Asda now without starting (as if I don't already) to empathise with that bloke in Seven. Not Bradley Pitt but the good one who plays the baddie. You know - the one who was in The Usual Suspects with that other bloke, the one who was in that film with Robert De Niro. I can't remember what it's called but it's the one where he plays the gangster. Not De Niro - I think he plays a postman. Not like Kevin Costner but like that other film with that bloke in it who has trouble with his wife. I think that might have been Jennifer Aniston but can't remember but I'm sure it will come to me. Saying that Jennifer Aniston has done well for herself hasn't she. I used to prefer Courteney Cox but I think Aniston has certainly aged better. That said she's no Hannah Spearritt, who sets the benchmark for 'phwar' - especially if she's eating Jaffa Cakes in her underwear.Anyway in short I heartily recommend watching this as, for me, it was like looking in the mirror.I look forward to watching season 4 but not until it's a bit cheaper.UPDATE - Chazz Palminteri - that's who I was thinking of.

    This is so funny

After buying series 1 & 2 we had to buy this. The man is brilliant. Self confessed middle class slightly "lefty" humour from the 80's/90's brought up to date. He deconstructs the jokes/scenarios and puts them back together again with very funny results and several diversions along the way. For an idea of his humour "carpetworld" on Amazon Prime is a must see. We started off with Carpetworld and bought the 3 Comedy Vehicle DVD's.
