Review: High quality cabinet - We were looking for an enclosed cabinet for our electronics because we have a 9 month old son and we needed to hide components from him. Our house is full of a mahogany/red cherry wood, and I could not find a cabinet that matched those colors. The walnut matches beautifully. The ability to mix and match difference accessories makes this cabinet amazing. The Synergy series are pricey, but thats because its one of the highest quality cabinets i've seen. Its definitely not one of those cheap slap together desk/tables/cabinets you get from Staples, Walmart, or Target. Its solid and heavy and looks great, highly recommended! Review: Buy it and enjoy it. - Great product. Very stylish. Very high quality. Wanted to buy it for a long time. A pleasure to assemble. All parts are precise. A bit hard to manage cables, but I connected everything first and then closed top panel.

Mismatched pieces. Painful assembly.
Assembly cannot be underestimated. This unit is infinitely adjustable. Installation was a multi-day project. I had to build this cabinet around my equipment. In my 100-year-old house--with floors that are not quite level--this is one of the few cabinets that would work. Its adjustability is a blessing and a curse. While it is stable and level now, assembly took two full afternoons. I'd say it took 8-10 hours to build, working at cautious, meticulous pace. My biggest gripe, by far, is that I received a mix of cherry and walnut pieces. I realize I could have called Amazon to (perhaps) get replacements. Installation was MASSIVE undertaking, remember? I would have to call, then insist, then take pictures, then wait, then reinstall again--perhaps from scratch. It now irritates me to see mismatched pieces, yet I can't bring myself to call and complain. This is a good unit, but it should be considered a DIY project. Buyer beware.

Heavy, high quality A/V cabinet
Heavy, great quality and holds up well. The back panels have space for cords to run through to outlets.
