Govee Smart TV LED Backlight Strip, RGBIC for 40-50inch TVs

These are worth every penny! They are so bright and vibrant, they are beautiful! I bought two of them when they were on sale, I’m just bummed I didn’t get another one! Super easy to install, they have lasted so far since I’ve bought them which I already knew, they’re Govee brand. They come with remote control but also an on/off button on the wire itself which glues to the tv. Fully recommend!

I can't say enough good things about this LED strip. I've used other brands in the past and non can compare to Govee. The App is what takes it over the top compared to other brands. Combined with other Govee products, you can set up timers, routines, link with other devices, and much more. Almost limitless color patterns and options. I've switched out all my bulbs with Govee and everything works the way I WANT using and easy control with only my voice.

The box is nicely packaged with all that you need. It comes with the LED strip, instructions, AC power brick, and adhesive strip brackets. The package arrived in perfect condition and is sealed ensuring it's a new product. The LED strip has flexible spots at the corners allowing it to bend for easier installation and better hold on the TV. I wiped the TV down using Windex to get the dust off, then used the alcohol wipes to clean off the surface a bit more. Each strip has paper protecting the sticky part, so I did one strip at a time. Working from the corner closest to the power outlet. It took less than 10 minutes to install it. I did use the brackets in certain spots but don't think it was required. They do place spaces on the strips for the brackets do they don't damage the LEDs. It was a very well thought out product. I did have the app installed from another product of theirs. Finding a new product was quite easy and took a minute for it to SYNC. The interface has quite a bit of options but users can customize it. Its fun to play with the different options, color schemes. You can control brightness so it's not too loud of colors. There is a features that allows the lights to change with sound. You can choose from the device (TV) or your phone. The colors don't sync to the scenes but still pretty cool to play with. Considering the price for the product, I find no flaws in it. I can also add other Govee products to the app and I can choose which ones to control, so there is a plus in that.

I purchased these yesterday for only $9.99 during Prime Day, and loved them so mich I had to snag another pair. Be sure to use the alcohol pad, it helps get every bit of dust off the back of your TV that you may have missed when wiping it down. It took about 10 minuyes to stick to the back of my TV. I plugged them in and easily addrd them to my Govee family of strip lights. Im a Hue Lights user, but I cant afford their light strips so tried Govee, and I love them. My TV is from 2005, yes its Plasma and I just updated its look. 10/10 Im buying these Tv lights again. Also the community submissions for these TV lights are really beautiful. Im using #chilling which was submitted by a user. Its a whole vibe! I love it! Easy to control, the lights get very bright, qualityis impressive. I sont ise the remote control on the lights, I use the Govee app!

Good buy except doesn't use A USB on TV to power unit. Dissatisfied as I read so many reviews claiming this particular unit use your TVs USB to power this device. Plugging into a wall outlet is unacceptable and is a definite deal breaker for me personally. I like Govee Product's typically but this purchase was a let down for sure. Morenforn more for ambient light then being used is a backlight that actually compliments the colors that are being shown on the TV this is more for Ambiance light. This is not like the 150 to $300 high-end lights that have a camera that pay attention to what's going on with the colors on a modern TV. As I say you get what you pay for. I will say compatibility is fine quality control was good installation was easy. Has Vivid Colors and also was really easy to install and control. Compatibility is fine for a TV within 50 inches. Just realize what your getting prior to making your on purchase of this particular item/device. Also it has a good android application for your 📱Smartphone. I do think Govee products in general are Way OVER Priced. And especially compared to Govee's competition. I'd buy a lot more of their products if they were charging Twice the Cost of what their products are actually even worth. If they were 100% designed and made completely in America they could easily justify the cost of the production of Govee products. But the real truth is it's all made with inferior and (gassing plastics) that smell terrible and that are all being being made in China. Govee doesn't think people realize they're paying twice to three times the cost to buy Govee products. Selling for extreme profits when they're made for pennies on the dollar in the well known "sweatshops over in 🇨🇳 China." That's disappointing Govee, truly disappointing that you run your company this way for the companies GREED of 💵 💵 💵 💵. There's plenty of Americans that can build a superior product for Govee and right HERE inside of 🇺🇸 AMERICA. If Govee decided to make a good choice and make all of their PRODUCTS over here in America, instead of made in 🇨🇳 China. People wouldn't mind the current selling price of Goji Govee product's. Govee is raking in RECORD Profits when they only pay (pennies on the dollar) to have a product made in China and then Govee sells that product for three sometimes four times it's Actual "worth." It's insane! That's why I only buy the "Govee Brand" at steep Sales Discounts. Otherwise I don't buy them. Go be like the rest of these companies around the world need to realize the world is in a recession especially America we're not buying luxury or wanted products in 2026. We're only buying the things we need to actually survive like food water utilities roof over your head gas for a car is tripled in price as well. I'd rather see all these companies go out of business than for people to continue to pay twice the three times what the products are ever actually worth that's how you teach these companies a lesson that they definitely need to learn! 💯

Brightness is good, easy to pair to the Govee app, installation is a breeze with the included brackets. The app gives you infinite options of lighting up these LEDs, I am using sound activated themes and I'm very happy with the results. Good quality double sided tape, adheres strong.

Idk why so many complaints. Govee never fails. Beautiful ambient lights. Very cool app control. Don't need app if you don't want. Durable and I love everything about these strips. No flickering. Love it.

Love this for lighting up the area behind my two wall-mounted monitors in my home office. No more "black hole" behind them and it helps balance the light level in the area so there's less strain on my eyes.

Another great addition to my Govee setup. The RGBIC lighting is one of my favourite features because it allows different sections of the strip to show different colours at the same time, instead of the whole strip being one colour. It makes the lighting effects much more interesting. Setup was really simple, and I had it added to the Govee app and connected to my existing scenes in no time. I also have my Govee setup integrated with both Amazon and Google Home, so controlling the TV lights is easy along with everything else in the house. The lighting looks great behind the TV and there are so many options for colours and effects. If you’re already using Govee, this is an easy addition to the ecosystem. Another Govee product I’m really happy with!

Me parece que está tira funciona muy bien por las funciones que tiene con la app de goove que es lo que hace que destaque debido asu nivel de personalización con el plus de conectarlo mediante Bluetooth y wifi y en mi caso con alexa

I believe it is the best product for its price. It has different modes and can be set to react-to-music or color-changing mode and many more. I was surprised to see too many options on the app! But this product is not the one that is changing based on the screen colors! So be aware! But it is bright and beautiful! The installation is easy and can be done quickly. I am very happy that I found it

These TV backlights are amazing! I love how they are able to be used with Amazon Alexa and there are so many different options on the Govee app. Having these backlights really elevate the entertainment unit at night! I will definitely buy the next size of this product again when I upgrade my TV! Fits the 43Inch TV I have perfectly!
