I used this on top of a piece of furniture that I use as a plant display. It works great. The water beads up on the surface and doesn't get absorbed, so essentially, the water evaporates. This is great at protecting the furniture from water stains, but I don't think I would recommend this as a floor mat in a bathroom - since the water would likely remain on the mat...

I bought this for my bathroom to have somewhere to step after a shower. I like it a lot but avoid getting it excessively wet. Had a leak in the bathroom that soaked the mat and it warped when it dried. Still a good buy and I still use it, just prefer that it didn’t warp

We tried in the bathroom but the water dripping from us from the shower would puddle on top. So we moved it to the kitchen and use it under the water filter bucket where the kids sometimes spill. Works better there, but does dirty easily.

Seems to have decent build quality. Something to note is that cork is waterproof, so standing on the mat will leave a little puddle of water on top. It doesn't absorb like a standard bath mat, but I'm pretty sure that's the point. It isn't slippery at all so it served it's purpose.

I use this sturdy mat in my bathroom. I was worried due to reviews saying water piled up on top of mat. This mat stays dry and clean right next to my bathtub. It is warm and feels great when getting out of the shower.

This is a nice mat, but it's not as soft as I'd hoped it would be.
