Can't speak for use on its intended purpose but worked great for discharge hose from bilge pump in my flatbottom boat...

I purchased this drain hose extension for my Miele W1 washing machine, but it fell short of expectations. While advertised as Miele-compatible, the hose's soft material caused kinking when connected to the existing drain hose. To resolve this, I improvised by inserting a short piece of rigid PVC tubing into the extension, preventing kinks and allowing for a secure connection with a metal hose clamp. However, this workaround may impede water flow due to the thick PVC walls. Given these issues, I cannot recommend this product for Miele W1 owners.

I bought this for an LG washer but the plugs were nearly identical where one would not fit inside the rubber extender. I simply cut off the thicker end of this extender and forced it into the washer's hose, then used the clamp to secure it in place. Works perfectly and didn't need any additional parts. Its pretty long too so cutting a small piece off did not matter.

I connected this drain hose to a 12v water transfer pump for siphoning water. The drain hose material is well made, rigid so that it won't collapse under vacuum and the 1 inch hose adapter on the end of the hose connected to the transfer pump fitting perfectly. It a great hose for my application!

I finally found a hose with the appropriate diameter for my machine. Upon installing and starting a washload I noticed water spraying out of a slit in the silicone/rubber end.
