Great beginner series
I picked up the Small Flames books for my 6-year-old to help spark more interest in chapter books. He was hesitant at first, but before long we had read the entire series together! The stories were easy enough for him to follow and read with a little help, which really helped build his confidence. What I loved most was that each book wove in a small life lesson without feeling preachy or overly complicated. The stories kept his attention while also opening up good conversations between us. I would definitely recommend this series for kids around 5โ9 years old, especially for parents wanting something enjoyable to read together with their children. Such a sweet and encouraging introduction to chapter books!
