Highly recommended!
I’ve used these Fischer cavity fixings for a few jobs around the house now, including putting up shelves and even mounting our TVs including an 85-inch TV and I’ve been really impressed. They feel incredibly strong and secure once installed. The toggle system behind the plasterboard spreads the weight really well, which gives a lot more confidence compared to standard wall plugs. Everything we’ve mounted has stayed completely solid with no movement at all. Installation is fairly straightforward once you know what you’re doing, and the extra effort is definitely worth it for the strength and reliability you get. For plasterboard walls, these are easily some of the best fixings I’ve used. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, especially for heavier items where you want that extra peace of mind.

Wish I had these years ago
Never seen these before. They are amazing. Was struggling to find plasterboard fixings to hang a home made driftwood coat hanger to a plasterboard wall. Looked at all the screw in ones I have always used in the past, but couldn't find any screws that would fit them, and be long enough. Looked at 100mm wing fittings with the spring loaded fold up wing, but buying them at 100mm long still meant loosing 20 to 40mm of thread due to having to fold the wings up the thread. again not long enough.. These Fischer ones are perfect.. You drill the hole and fit them to the wall first, and they lock in place. You are then free to use almost any kind of screw length you can find. I used 120mm long M5 wood decking screws, and countersunk them into the driftwood. They fit like a dream. The fit is more secure than with all plugs I have used for plasterboard before. The ability to use any kind of threaded screw or bolt is what really appeals to me. There's no way I could have got the wood screws to fit my original screw in plugs, and there's still the risk of them pulling out. As long as you use the correct diameter size for the particular plug used, it wont matter what type of screw it is. A little expensive for 20 plugs, but again, it was for a specialised fit, and it did it so easily, it made the cost worth it. Will always have some of these in my artillery from now on, they were a life saver.

They work fine but check you have enough of a gap for the toggle drop down behind the board
Generally pleased with Fischer plugs but needed stronger support for shelving. Saw demo and bought these. However, found my walls did not have enough of a gap between the plasterboard and the wall They to allow the toggle to drop down into place I had a deadline so had to cut longer thin slot over hole and push in - not ideal - but worked

Excellent product
My client I sub contract from insist on 6 fixings on pb walls for a TV bracket, even if I get four stud fixings, these provide a great anchor point on double skin pb walls where there's no studs and gripits require you to recess the back of the pb (which can potentially weaken the fixing point). With the zip tie you drill a hole, push through, zip it and screw it. Can't go wrong. I still wouldn't use these for full motion TV brackets, but ideal for most fixed loads like radiators, etc. don't skimp out and remember that you explain why the fixings are so expensive to the customer, they're justified in the value they offer, with ease of use speeding up most installs

Works well and seems very secure, but decent instructions would help
I needed to fix a fairly heavy antique cabinet to a 12.5 mm plasterboard wall with two screws, and having had mixed results with nylon "witch's hat" self-drilling plugs on another project, some of which had ripped out, I discovered these and though I'd give them a try. They do seem expensive at first sight, but at maybe 60p per fixing it's hardly much as long as it works. Knowing there's a solid anchor behind the plasterboard, rather than just a small plastic spiral in the soft plaster, means I feel quite safe putting valuable and fragile things in the cabinet without fear of it crashing down - and that peace of mind is worth every penny! I was worried about the depth behind the plasterboard, and a trial measurement with a probe after drilling a pilot hole showed it to be 2 or 3 mm too shallow! Infuriatingly, the one obvious essential measurement that they don't clearly tell you anywhere is the minimum depth of the cavity, i.e. to allow the toggle to clear the hole and flip. Measuring the length of the toggle I reckon it's about 38 mm. My cavity space was only about 35 mm, but I went ahead anyway and to my relief there was enough "wiggle" for the plug to flip open after jiggling the tie a bit. The 10 mm hole is quite a tight squeeze to get the toggle and folded tie through, but just squeeze it flat and persevere! After that, fitting the facing bush was straightforward, though note that it has a ratchet like a cable tie and can't be (easily) pulled back again, so don't play with it before fitting! Once pulled tight, with the bush pressed firmly into the hole, the tie is then worked up and down a few times to break it off. If you're a perfectionist, you can use a sharp knife to trim any rough end completely flush with the bush. The plug is now solid and secure, so you can fit a suitable (preferably parallel-thread) screw at your leisure. A minor criticism is that the instructions are virtually non-existent, apart from some cryptic diagrams on the box - for example you need a screw "5 mm x ls" Huh? Ok, 5mm diameter, but what's "ls"? Presumably "length of screw" - err, so you need a screw that's as long as it's long?! I suppose that does tie in with "ls" measurement shown on the other diagrams, but it's hardly clear. Likewise there are five small pictures of different materials on the front, but no description of what they are or any thickness measurements at all, leaving you to guess that the first thin looking one labelled "max 20kg" probably relates to 9mm plaster/fibreboard, and the second thicker looking one labelled "max 51kg" is probably 12.5mm plasterboard. Incidentally, Amazon's product description is no help at all, looking like it's been pushed though Google translate from German via Volapük and a few other languages on the way. For example: "Easy to pre-assembly – plug feels Even without screw it should not be left out in the screw hole. Thanks to the the short pivot element suited to use in narrow, also with mineral wool gedämmte the cavities. Multiple installing and removing the screw head. Note: min) and a4-80 stainless steel screw material. Tabletop thickness: 9.5 Mm Max. Table top thickness: 55 mm diameter (mm): 10; Length (mm): 47, screw (mm): 4.5 – 5; drilled diameter (mm): 10"

Reliable fixings for heavy items
I used these fixings to secure a radiator and they worked perfectly. The drill hole is only 10mm, in comparison with gripit which require a larger hole. At 70p per fixing, they're not cheap, so for light objects i would use the duo plugs, but they are worth the extra cost whenever something heavy is to be attached to a plasterboard. For a few extra pound they gave my a piece of mind, so I highly recommend them.

Excellent for plaster drywall and mixed surfaces. Unlike toggles can undo/re screw items.
A great alternative to sprung toggles as are easily set, used and can unscrew and re screw which you can’t with a toggle. While they can be used longways also, like a normal raw plug, it’s not economical, but handy nevertheless. I’m super happy with these, excellent.
