The elastic waistband makes it fit easily, if you've got a belly it'll hide it, it's comfy to wear, and the material is perfectly normal. I bought a different skirt off Amazon once and the fabric was horrible, felt like wearing a waterproof table cloth, but this is exactly what you'd expect a skirt to feel like. Low bar I suppose, but this clears it. I like the pattern. If possible, I'm likely to buy another of these someday.

My elderly Mother in Law hates elastic round her waist. It has been a nightmare to get any skirt which has only a draw tie. Yippee. I realised this skirt which is well made would be able to be cut down at the waist, a tie made from that surplus material and then a channel with opening sewn into the main body left. Fantastic result and I'm not an accomplished sewer at all. it looks fantastic, pulls over the head and flares out beautifully. When she's tried it I will be buying other colours to make her more. The original elastic was thick and would be strong around the tummy. But, for a small price, I have a nice skirt for her. thanks for giving me the main basis of the revised design.

This skirt is very pretty. But, sizes are inconsistent. I bought two the same size, one was smaller and longer than the other. Decent material, but the size and length inconsistency is baffling.

This is a beautiful skirt. It's flowy and light, but no too lightweight. I'm 5 5" and a size 12 and 10 stone. I bought the medium, its a perfect length. The waist is elasticated but feels like its strong elastic, so its really stretchy but feels tight. I prefer something loser around my middleaged belly! so i'm sretching it out at the moment in the hope it will ease a bit. It sits just on my ankle and the colous are beautiful. Would have given 5 stars if the waist was a little loser. Maybe I should have got a large. Would recommend
