And that's a good thing.-The finish looks great with a grey wood-grain surface-Edges are all covered with a rubberized material keeping it from slipping or scuffing surfaces it touches-Really has a high quality appearance-Love the low profile design that doesn't take up a bunch of space or stick out like a sore thumb when not in use-Works great with my son's electric and acoustic guitarsThe Bad:-A bit expensive-I could have done without the foam packaging that cannot be easily recycled. They could have come up with a way to adequately protect using either cardboard or a styrofoam that can be recycled, unlike eat type selected here.The Bottom Line:Unlike a lot of products sold today, this guitar stand from Gator Frameworks is really nice quality and looks great in virtually any environment. This is not an item that is going to fall apart or look like crap in a year or two (unless you abuse the heck out of it). My only reason for deducting one star is that I was very disappointed in the wasteful packaging, using foam that I cannot even take to my local recycling center for handling more obscure items. This went straight to the trash and will unfortunately end up in a landfill.

This is a very simple yet convenient and stylish guitar stand. It is compact yet very sturdy. I like that I can place it anywhere and it doesn't take up much room.I have not had any issues with instability, cracking, etc. since I have been using this stand. I definitely recommend it!
