A complete description of all salts in the World Sampler is listed under the Descriptions area on the product. We occasionally add new salts or substitute. We hope you enjoy the sampler. It's great fun!

are there covers for each sample?

Yes, we put tops on each of the individual sea salt containers to keep them fresh and isolated. There is a detailed brochure enclosed as well that gives you all the information on each salt and how to enjoy it. Each salt is also individually labeled.

if each of the salts are individually packaged and have a lid, are the containers inside of the sample set reusable?

Each salt is individually packaged in a container with a lid. Each is a good sample size about the size of a quarter for the dish size.

Worth $114 per pound?

No. Salts, and variants thereof are quite common, although, not as common as the rare earth minerals that produce these salts. For every mineral, in the periodic table, once the moisture has either evaporated, or polymerized, salt is left. Salts are cheap, compared to the minerals and other substances that produce them.
