Following on from first books this keeps momentum going, easy to read on a hot day and chapters have good conclusions so I don't get daft and read through all y other stuff I need to do . really enjoyed this and it's leader books

I'd read the first two books in this series so knew about Millie's back story. She had been able to protect women in these books but this one seems to be more about protecting herself.The book was first published in 2024. It has 383 pages split into 80 chapters.In the Prologue there is a bloody death scene described by someone in the room. We presume they have murdered the victim as the narrator literally has blood on their hands. Of course, at this stage we have no clues about either person.Millie narrates most of the book and she is a really strong character who never leaves you in any doubt about what she is thinking. Her humour and vulnerabilities both come across clearly.It's a very easy book to read and the plot whips along really quickly. The story is full of people lying (including Millie) and it is fun for the reader to try to work out how much of it is true.There is another narrator who takes over for a while, towards the end and gives the story a major twist.The plot is completely ridiculous and won't stay in my head for long. However, I think the book is fun to read and I'm going to get another one by this author.

Another gripping page turner, which will keep you enthralled until the very end. Storytelling at its best. It's definitely a series worth considering if you are looking for something new

I really wanted to love this but it’s sadly not as good as the first two in the series. Very repetitive narrative. Just a bit clunky. But worth reading if you enjoyed the first two in the series.

Ada is AWESOME, I did not see it coming. If only Enzos ruled the World. Justice is served as always. Loved it. Perfect way to finish. 10/10.

I have read the whole series, and each one is a real page-turner.Millie is a delight and totally believable.I hope she continues for a long time....

I normally only read on holiday & I ordered this book to take with me. I just thought I would have a ilittle read prior to holiday & I didn't stop. It was such an easy read. This is the first book I have read by Freida McFadden, I will be definitely be buying more if her books.

So I’ve read all three books and this one I was skeptical as to where it could be going but I loved this new approach and I found this one had an incredible bout of humour throughout, there’s some little one liners in here that had me chuckling it was nice to see a happy ending for the lost little soul that we met in the first ever book
