I LOVE this soap. 2 ingredients, that's it. The bars are BIG, and I love how the color changes as you wear it down (it's green inside)! I have extremely sensitive skin (think: white girl, rosacea, combination skin, NO FRAGRANCE), and it took me a little while to figure out what works for me. One thing is, I stopped exfoliating so much, as I was recommended by a derm to only do it once a week. I used to work outside and would scrub every day. I also use better oils for my skin after washing (rose hip), which is good with my rosacea. This soap never leaves my skin feeling dry or "tight", but it does feel clean. You could easily wash your hair with this soap as well! I have used no other face/body soap for a year now. Great deal for what you get!!

I'm 68 years old, and have very sensitive skin and try new products religiously. I also have rosacea. I have large pores especially on my nose, which sebaceous filaments I've battled. The back of my head seemed to always itch, so I've tried a multitude of shampoos, etc. After reading about authentic Aleppo soap with its benefits, I bought 2 bars. I'm still on my first bar. I use it on my hair, face, and body. My face has cleared up completely. I no longer have sebaceous filaments on my nose. My pores are clean now and stay that way all day. My head no longer itches. My body feels clean. I no longer have breakouts on my underwear line. I love the smell, and our bathroom has the smell from the bar sitting in the shower rack. This will be the only thing that I will ever buy. You have nothing much to lose.

Purchased from rec on instagram. Its smell isn’t as lovely as most dials but my skin is in such better shape when I’ve used this. I highly recommend if you have seasonal skin irritations.

I like how this soap feels on my skin. It leaves me feeling squeaky clean, but I don’t really enjoy the natural smell of this product. I found a way around though by using essential oils to mask the scent, which makes it much better. I put cut off parts of the bar in a plastic bag with a little water and drops of my oils, and let it sit so the soap takes on a nicer fragrance. Overall, I really like the way it works on my skin.

This stuff is amazing! I've been looking for something natural and came across these types of plain oil/lye soaps. It has a very strong scent that I think is really good. It's a sort of a woody, herbaceous natural scent. I use it when showering as body wash and face wash. It leaves the skin squeaky clean, moisturized, and feeling wonderful. It's hard to describe how much better it is than standard modern soaps that leave skin dry and itchy. I've been using it for a few weeks and think it'll probably last a long time because it only takes a tiny bit each use, it's strong. Additionally, the one I was sent had a sticker on it noting it was a special batch with 30% laurel oil, very much appreciated. Edit note: If you have hard water, it'll eventually get your hair waxy when used as shampoo. I recommend not using it as shampoo if you have hard water.

Leaves your skin very very soft. It works wonders for my dry skin. Lathers great

It smells like cow manuer UNTIL you put it under water and get the outer layer off. Then it still holds a bit of an earthy smell, but it's very subtle. It lathers really well and feels super clean to use, ecen cleans your hair and face super well so it's quick to just lather onto your whole body and rinse. I have really sensitive skin and some dry/inflammation issues with my scalp, but this seems to work really well (only on my first use though). Not bad at all, just needs a bit of a scent added
