Tried Stanadyne and the difference is amazing. My car is now running like new. I've used BP Ultimate for years thinking that it would help, but my engine still had some clogging. I am now running on regular diesel and I'm getting better performance than ever. I plan to continue using Stanadyne.Edit...I thought I would give an update on my experience with this additive after a full year of using it. My opinion of this has not changed, it is still extremely good. My 14 year old Xsara Picasso 2.0 Hdi is running even better than when I wrote the original review. I am a retired engineer and college lecturer and I'm not inclined to dream up false virtues, I always tend to be matter of fact and logical. I can without any doubt say that my car is running like it was designed to do and is smoother, quieter and more economicalEdit2...Well here's my latest update... 11 months ago I changed my car to a more modern diesel, (1.6 BlueHDI 120) even though my old faithful was running perfectly. I still do not do a lot of miles, so I decided to continue using Stanadyne additive. The new car has a DPF which as most people know has to regenerate itself when it gets clogged up. In the last 11 months of driving the new car, the car has not needed to regenerate the DPF at all. I honestly believe that is down to using Stanadyne additive. My new car is very smooth, quiet and economical.
