What size would you recommend for a lakeland terrier thanks

I'd definately recommend you try the small chews first for your lakeland. They are pretty tough chews so start out small and work up to meduim if you feel you need to.
I have 3 dogs all different sizes (jack russell, dogue de bordeaux & a large american bulldog) all 3 of my dogs happily eat the small chews. I have let the dogs try the medium and large size chews but to be honest with you I saw no reason to keep buying the bigger chews when all 3 of my dogs are just as happy eating the smaller ones. 
Whimzees are similar (timewise) in how your dog would eat a dentastix, these chews are just a little tougher, so the dog has to really CHEW to get through them  :)

Good question. I now receive the toothbrush and the "Pedigree" style chews. The latter was in a box of 30 but now both are in plastic bags of 24.

This is for the small size. I've also tried the medium toothbrush but, frankly, these do not last any longer than the small size and I think they are ALL overpriced. My StaffieFrench bulldog loves them but he seems to be demolishing them quicker than before. He chews them but has teeth like a piranha. I'm beginning to wonder if these 2×24 per month are worth the £18 plus. He gets the toothbrush at around 4 pm and the 'chew chew' after his nighttime walkies. Do they really clean his teeth? I don't know ~ the vet said 2 years old that he had tartar. This year another vet said his teeth were fine. He's now 4 year's old.

I also buy the supplement of seaweed, parsley and mint which you sprinkle on food and the result is meant to be more saliva that cleans the nashers. This dog has me over a barrow!

But I am annoyed at 24 piece bags. There are 5 months of 30 days, six of 31 and so, neither are providing a monthly supply even for February. I'm going to check price because this is a bit of a rip off!

What has the manufacturer to say? The smallest size has more but I wouldn't risk his choking. The larger sizes have less or the cost is prohibitively expensive. I feel owners are being taken advantage of.
