Purchase with caution
I have a normal smartphone (Samsung S8). Once you have mounted the phone it looks fine...no problems there. However once you start cycling down a normal London road if you hit any bump or hole the phones shakes and vibrates in a way that causes concern since there is nothing to restrain or hold the phone in place.2 weeks on...please see my edit - i have upgraded to 3 stars

Superb, stable, secure and easily removed when you park up.
Superb design and like a built in shock absorber too. Easily stowed in your pocket when you're parked up.

Awful - avoid!
Never again! Elastic strand broke after 18 months of just OCCASIONAL use of strapping my medium sized phone to the handlebars. Purchased alternative 'cheap' ones for a fraction of the price that last far longer.
