I just lay one or two down on a public diaper changing table and change my sons diaper then throw them away. They are much cheaper than the "designated" diaper changing pads that Munchkin makes. We looked at getting changing pad protectors specific for baby, but they were several times the cost. These are just as good, our little one has had a few "accidents" while I was changing her and these have kept the changing pad clean and dry.
